The first few times I watched Hannibal I hated Chilton. Like rolled my eyes, groaned or booed when he came on screen.

But now, every time, I seem to like him more and more.

Like he's practical. He trusts Will before anyone because he does not want to die. He specifically tries not to die. (The dinner party scene is a favourite) He's funny and sassy. He got framed for being a cannibal despite being a known vegan!! How does the FBI fuck up that bady?! That man is resilient. He should not be alive. Honestly, if you went through all that, you would want some level of fame from it too! And that man was done so wrong when he was interviewed by Freddie and Will interrupted. Is it funny? Yes. Did Will know it was likely going to be a death sentence? Also yes. And yet they did that to the poor man. So sad.

Just Chilton guys. Maybe we shouldn't hate him.
