Have you ever seen a show that has an incredibly diverse cast of characters, many well-known and talented cast members, great humour, many queer characters, a lot of carefully handled mental health and disability representation as the central storyline and a wonderfully fun new but interconnected plot every episode? And absurdist fictional medical situations for doctors to solve to boot?

I have!

Oh and did I mention the raving anti-capitalist commentary? There's also that

Sleech and klak redesigns!!! (And definitely not ship art (lying))

I wanted to keep some things from the original designs and change the colors mostly and I like them a lot more<3 I'm probably gonna redesign vlam and plowp next because I love them :3

I also wanna talk about my problem with the character design in this show. I love the show, however the characters make me want to cry the COLORS did you even LOOK at a color wheel????? I'm sorry. Vlam looks okay. I don't think,,, any of the others do tbh I'm sorry they look horrendous

Specifically in these designs I took away some of klaks eyes because she's like a fish, why would they need more eyes? Also changed the arm gills to webbed hands and gave her MORE buns for cuteness, I also just made the colors more cohesive

And I made sleech more magenta and pink and red since I wanted to give klak more blue accents and teal. Also gave her FANGS because it's cute

YEAH I love them I wish this show didn't have the most disgusting color palette known to man it hurts me I love character design so much and they just threw it in the garbage. Not to say my designs are perfect, they're def not! I might even change them a little lol

It's really been a while since I've seen a disability storyline be handled well and in interesting new ways with a nuanced happy ending and unfortunately I have no one to talk to about it because none of yall nerds has watched the first season, let alone the second. There's literally not even promo materials for me to plug for the second season.

Anyhow please put up with my non-visual contributions. I love Sleech and I love Stephanie Hsu and I think this season was done really well.

So anyway if you've ever loved a star trek episode I think you'll adore this show

i LOVE!!! second best hospital in the galaxy! everyone go watch it right MEOW!

it has genuinely good lgbt rep and the characters are so likable and relatable it’s so so so great. the art style threw me off a bit at first but i quickly grew to love it!!!

please if you also love this show as much as i do and understand its genius then talk to me about it cause god it’s a shame to me that i haven’t seen more coverage on this show?!! it’s amazing?!!!!!!
