The bear wasn't dead. Not fully.
I've been operating under the slightly less horrifying assumption that Phoebe was piloting Dr. Wenabocker's dead body. But I think he might still be alive, like that bear was "alive". Horrifying.

Our structural engineers have noted significant integrity loss surrounding Reactor Charlie. Now, this integrity loss may result in repeated incidents of increased severity if left untreated. We are not doing that. We are handling things now with the repair materials on hand, and we should have this remedied within the we-. (tape clicks)
3rd Tape: [Wenabocker] (alarm continues, even louder) I don't care, I want two teams down there right now! Following on the official urgent materials request submitted. All signs, all signs are pointing to sabotage. This is a matter of national security! If we can't fix this- (tape clicks)

I'm finally watching the final episode of burrows end after like a month of procrastinating.
Now I'm not a squeamish person, gore doesn't often phase me, but Phoebe poking out of Dr. Wenabego genuinely grossed me out. Like, I have no idea what it is about Phoebe and her puppet man have affected me in ways I did not expect.
Yeah Phoebe being in Dr. Wenabocker is creepy and gross and weird. But Dr. Wenabocker pre-Phoebe? Hot. Dying of radiation poisoning but still hot
