Dr. Faydor Zone; the primary antagonist of Endless Orbit SSX
The Zone HCs
The series that started it all! While watching the very first series, you may notice some things that haven’t been set in stone yet. For instance, it took a few episodes for Time Ape to have his iconic red basketball shorts, and the Cerebroids’ base of operations did not have its iconic large brain stretching forebodingly across the entrance.
The Zone was episodic in nature, and some of the acting is shaky since the actors are still trying to find their niche. Of course, one of the biggest mysteries of all is the boy who appears in the lost pilot (now found) and is never mentioned in the franchise again. There’s tons of speculation regarding the identity of the boy.
Pilot episode: The Seed Beasts
A mysterious young boy asks for Dr. Zone’s assistance in defeating the Seed Beasts, a group of megalomaniacal mutated plants who’ve been transforming innocent people into plants for their nefarious purposes.
Note: Orton Mahlson’s contract gave specific instructions to lock the pilot episode in a vault until the appointed date and time fifty years into the future. Only then will the network have permission to air it. Mahlson’s agent, a very strange fellow in a purple suit with a high-pitched voice, claims that the reasons are due to a combination of saving the world from a plantocalypse, copyright and legal issues, and ensuring that the human race survives long enough to put his face on a chip bag.
