This graduation speech is so inspirational, it’s fully effective but the cooler part about it is when i found out dr.taylor actually graduated on the same day i graduated! which its the day our dr wrote “you are on your own kid” & “labyrinth” back in the locker room when she was getting ready to make the speech and her academical appearance! 18th May-2022 u will always be part of me!👩‍🎓🗽

Mastery Journal Update: BIT

When learning about Business Intelligence Technology, our course blew my mind to another planet. The exquisite course did not let me down one bit, and the course director was intelligent. Not only intelligent, in what they were teaching us, but a friend when times got tough. Even though I was not able to return the phone call after emailing the course director, them reaching out was enough. The way I was able to feel like my school is a safe place is more to me than a degree, even though I am proud of myself for pushing forward. It has not been easy, each class is more challenging, and I know I could handle it. This course instructor taught us to place discipline in our work to present our best, as best as we can. This is what I will be carrying on with me for a lifetime and after that in my career and other situations as well. As learning how to utilize our Power BI Desktop was just the icing on the cake, and the tutorials were immaculate and easy to follow. When you have a course director, that is your mentor, your teacher, and also a friend, it is something I will never forget.

Thank you, Dr. Taylor, for that voicemail that day, which pivoted me back into focus. It has not been easy, but if I have staff that believes in me, then I need to try better to believe in myself too.
