movie nights and toothpaste - fem!caleb x reader | fluff drabble.

author's note: i saw a fem!caleb fanart and well, now we're here. i'm trying to get out all my drafts in time for the 31st, ah!!! enjoy.

when you told caleb that you wanted to watch a movie before bed,

she had already programed that she was going to have to carry you to bed afterwards. that's how it usually ends. the main protagonist is solving the final piece of the puzzle and when caleb's so close to figuring it out ; your snore breaks in. it catches her attention instantly.

so tonight, she was more than impressed, as you stood up from the sofa.

...now she's a little less impressed.

she can't keep her eyes off you. your dark eyes keep falling and there's toothpaste dribbling down your chin. you've got a mess on collar of your shirt and it's almost like the smell of overwhelming smell of mint doesn't seem to register in your mind. your fighting agaisnt your eyelids too much to think.

"y/n-" she tries at first. her eyebrows are furrowed and she's rinsing herself off before starting with you. "if you were sleepy, you could've just-"

"are we done?" you mumble, half-asleep.

she sighs and soon, a smile is on her face. "you sure are. look at this mess, baby."

"i don't care, i'm tired." you whine and she sighs. this is her fault. she had the opportunity to tell you you were rude while the two of you were strictly friends. instead, she wanted to be the only one who dealt with it. what an insane woman, especially over you.

"hurry up." you grumble and she's blinking.

"are you waiting for me, oh sweet princess?" she quips.

"shut up. carry me." you order but there's rose on your cheeks. even if you're shaken with sleep.

caleb can't help the bow. "of course, my lady."

“yeah, yeah. minnie said the same thing.” 

minjung was rubbing off on her, just a little. the proof was in her ensemble. instead of a plain hoodie, issy stepped out today in a light blue v cut plaid sweater, and under it a white turtle neck- both tucked into her jeans all around. not much of a change, but baby steps. depite feeling a little awkward, she did feel proud of herself though. iseul even styled her hair a little and that takes effort- especially when she has no motivation to get fancy. closing her front door before shoving her hands in her pockets, she mockingly grinned with a little chuckle. “i better, that curling iron this morning almost got taken apart...”
