"Have mercy," you panted between hot, needy kisses.

Viktor had you shoved against the wall of the entry way. Hands roaming freely. One found its way under the hem your dress, the garment that started this whole thing. Admittedly, you'd worn it to get a rise out of him.

Now you were dealing with the delicious consequences.

Viktor nipped at the sensitive skin of your neck, pulling a mewl from your throat. "Mercy? - You spend the day teasing me, and now you ask for mercy. We haven't even begun, my love."

"You like the dress then?"

"Yes. Very much so."

Day 28 - Mercy

You were dying.

Your lungs were on fire, your arms and legs weak from pushing away, and trying to protect yourself the best you could.

“S…S..Stop! Please, Caleb! “ you screamed, a high pitched sound with a raspy undertone from the previou screams and laughter. 

“Oh? Stop?” he said, his arms relentless at searching for another spot to attack. “Stop, Caleb” he mocked in the off pitch laughing when you grabbed his hands. Trying to get away further on the floor, futile attempt. 

“No mercy for the wicked!” he chuckled, starting another tickle attack. 

You shouldn’t have started this madness.

   Being merciful will be Kalim’s downfall. There’s no point in forgiving people who’ve betrayed your trust and who’ve wished for your disappearance. His kind nature is a disgrace, one that’ll lead to misfortune in the future.

   Jamil is different. Of all the people who’ve wounded Kalim, he’s the only one still here, the only one Kalim has wept for and whose actions have elicited anything other than saddened resignation from his master.

   He is special and that’s why, even if Kalim falls to ruins because he’s too benevolent, Jamil will be here, accompanying him at every step of the way.

Jane looked up from her paperwork as a knock sounded on the schoolhouse door.

“It’s open,” she called, rising from her desk.

The most beautiful man she’d ever seen entered.  Tall, muscular, beautiful blue eyes, a warm smile on his lightly tanned face.  He removed his horned hat to reveal lush silver-white hair, her fingers twitched with the urge to rake through that glorious mane.

“Miss Jane?” a warm, sexy, honeyed voice asked with a knee weakening drawl.  “I’m Andy’s Pa, thought I’d introduce myself.”

After he left, Jane sank bonelessly into her chair.

“Have mercy,” she whispered, fanning herself.

The woman lied in the narrow bed with her eyes glued to the window reflecting the flickering neon lights. She wished she could reach the switch to turn them off.

The hospital was quiet that night, the sky alight with blazing starshine and the second moon waving from the east.It felt like a home she once knew.

"It's beautiful, doctor," she croaked at the figure entering the room.

Ljiev followed her gaze. He turned the lights off with an exhale. A mercy he could show.

The cosmos peeked into the room, as a peaceful pressure crushed the woman's lungs.
