"Listen, man, you have to. You've been postponing it for too much now"
"No." replied coldly Draco as Blaise sighed heavily. Draco was pacing around the common room deep in thought while Blaise simply watched him with a slightly amused smile.
"Just ask! The worst she can say is no." encouraged Blaise once more, gesturing to his friend who wasn't even looking at him.
"Yeah, but that would be devastating." stated Draco stopping right in front of him with wide eyes. He began his pacing again and Blaise rolled his eyes clearly annoyed at the lack of courage of the blond.
"Since when have you cared about the consequences of your actions, Draco?" Draco glared at him but didn't stop walking, instead quickening his steps. Blaise abruptly stood up and placed himself in front of the troubled boy, grasping his shoulders and successfully stopping him.
"But what if she doesn't feel the same way?" asked Draco with panic in his eyes.
"You have to ask her out to know whether she does or not." Draco shook his hands off him and plopped down on the couch with his head in his hands.
"Hey, i've known you all my life, i know you and i know you managed to do far more dreadful things than asking a girl out. You can do it." said Blaise sitting next to him on the couch and laying a comforting hand on his back.
"Blaise you don't understand." affirmed Draco straightening himself against the back of the couch. "I don't want to ruin everything."
"You won't. I've seen how she looks at you and she has never gazed at me like that." Draco pondered for a few moments before standing up with a new-found resolve in his eyes.
"I'll do it."
"That's the spirit! Go!" shouted Blaise happily, finally seeing his best friend conquering his fear.
"What? Now? I can't do it now." whispered Draco, his previous resolve now wavering.
"Yes, you'll do it now. You'll go find her and confess your feelings while you can." Blaise was now guiding a reluctant Draco towards the door of the common room when the door opened and inside slipped two figures: you and Pansy. Your eyes went wide when you saw the two boys in the middle of the room and everyone went silent for a moment. Blaise and Pansy seemed to exchange a knowing look and quickly found excuses to be off.
"I'll see you later, okay? I have that thing to do..."
"What? No, wait-" Draco tried stopping his friend but he was already outside the door with Pansy following after him.
"I have to go too, y/n. See you at dinner!"
"Pansy, you said you'd help me with my potions essay!"
"I know, but i just remembered i have an urgent matter to attend to. I'm sure Draco can help you though!" and with that Pansy shut the door with a loud thump. You gulped and stared right in Draco's eyes. He did the same, unable to move his gaze away from you.
"Y/n. There's a thing i have to tell you." he suddenly announced and you felt your heart leap inside your chest. Words weren't able to come out of your mouth so you simply nodded quickly.
"I... I..." he began, "I will be more than happy to help you with your homework."
He mentally slapped himself.
"Thanks." you breathed out and looked down at your feet. "Actually, there's something i've been meaning to ask you too."
Draco took a few tentative steps closer and your eyes met his again.
"Go on. What is it?" you opened your mouth to talk but words got stuck in your throat.
"Nevermind." you whispered as you shook your head lightly, a small sad smile on your face.
"No, please tell me." he was now even closer and the usually freezing room was now surprisingly hot.
"I was just wondering if you could help me with divination too, the last lesson was a little confusing for me." you lied and you saw Draco's shoulders slouching down a little.
"Yes, of course. Anything." Draco's lips curled up slightly in a shy grin as he set his eyes down on the ground. You were now unsure what to do and a heavy silence fell between the two of you.
You thanked Merlin when the door opened again and Blaise walked back inside.
"Forgot my book." he said as he disappeared in his dorm and reappeared a few seconds later with a thin volume in his hands. "Has he asked you yet?"
You eagerly turned your gaze to him with furrowed brows and shook your head as Draco mentally cursed the slytherin.
"Well, we were discussing together earlier and he was wondering if you would go to Hogsmeade with him some time." your eyes lit up at the statement and Blaise winked at Draco mischievously.
"You don't have-"
"Yes." you replied, biting your lip sheepishly.
"Yes?"
"Yes!" he stared at you with a look of utter bewilderment on his face and Blaise took this as his signal to go, giving a thumbs up to Draco before closing the door once more.
"Like, only us two? You would go together with me? On a date?" he clarified and you beamed.
"Yes, a date. We could go now." you suggested quickly, "if you want to, that is."
"Yes! I mean, yes." he tried to play it cool and tone down his amusement, but the wide grin on his face made his true emotions quite clear. He approached you and you took his hand gingerly, heading towards the exit. "But what about your homework?"
I was kinda stumped writing this one. Lol. If you want to read the first part to this, have a look at my posts:)

Summary: After Draco ended things with you, you decide to move on with someone new. It's only then you realise that you can't forget him, you wish you could but it's so natural for you to love him. It doesn't help that Theo constantly compares himself to Draco and tries to be like him so that you love him.
Part 1, Part 2, Part 3.
---
You missed Draco. You missed him so much. You wouldn't even try to hide it. Even if you were already in a new relationship with Theo.
You felt as you were being unfair. To both Draco and Theo. You didn't deserve either of them.
You and Draco were still on good terms. You both kept your promises, to stay friends, even if the memories left sore hearts and distant memories.
Interactions with Draco were nothing out of the ordinary. A smile, a wave, a small conversation. It's always cut short because of Theo though. He doesn't like you still talking to Draco.
You truly thought that being in a relationship with Theo would help you forget your relationship with Draco. You imagined your new relationship to be picture perfect, and exactly what you expected, especially because of all you sacrificed for it. In reality, Theo couldn't compare to Draco. He could never be Draco, and as much as you didn't want him to be, he felt as though he needed to be exactly like him.
That was one thing you didn't like about your relationship with Theo. It was too similar to your old one. The whole point was to forget it. But Theo made it so difficult.
---
"I bet Draco brought breakfast to your dorms every morning didn't he? Just to make sure you didn't have to get out of bed and wake up early." he said
"Yeah, I mean not always-"
"Okay so I know I need to do that then" he firmly stated
"No you don't need to do it Theo. You don't have to be like Draco-"
"How else will you love me?" he chuckled, and you laughed back, though you really didn't find it funny.
---
It just brought you more heartache. You had told Theo about it. Told him to just be himself and do what he thought was right in the relationship, but it would just lead to arguments and broken promises.
"Theo I told you! I don't need you to be like him! I just want to love you for you! If I really wanted Draco I would go back to him wouldn't I?" you were done getting through to the thick headed boy in front of you.
"Y/N! Listen to me! How am I supposed to compare to him! The only way I can make sure you don't leave me is if I do better than him! I need to be better than him y/n! Don't you see!?" he yelled at you.
So that's all you were. A way for Theo to prove that he is better than Draco.
"No Theo, I don't see it. And for the record, Draco never yelled at me like that." that shut him up and he just looked at you with the most utterly exasperated expression.
It always led to the both of you going to bed angry that night.
---
"I bet he fucked you rough huh?" Theo said as he pounded into you.
You moaned in response, he wasn't wrong, Draco did usually go rough on you, but it wasn't like this, not the way Theo was. When Draco and you had sex, it was rough but full of love, but with Theo it was full of jealousy and lust.
"Answer me you whore" he grunted as he picked us his pace.
"Yes" you moaned breathlessly. He smirked at you, you knew exactly what he was thinking.
"Need to fuck you better than Malfoy could have ever done" he said, going deeper, faster, as the bed rocked underneath you. He hit a spot inside of you, one that made you feel so good.
"Oh- Draco" you moaned quietly. You choked in realisation at what you had just said, hoping it wasn't loud enough for Theo to hear. Your brain just couldn't forget him. He was etched and engraved in every inch of your skin. It was muscle memory.
"What was that love?" Theo questioned as he slowed down.
"Theo-" You moaned louder, trying to cover up your mistake.
"That's right" he said as he once again started thrusting harder. Too hard. Tears spilled down your face, not from pleasure, it was truly overwhelming, the pain.
"Ow" you said quietly, hoping Theo would notice and slow down. He only mistook it for a moan and continued wrecking you. "Theo stop" you said gripping his shoulders. "Slow down".
"Slow down? Did Draco slow down when you begged him to stop?" He asked, smirking and continuing his pace.
"THEO! FUCK STOP! RED!" You yelled in pain. "RED! Theo!" He halted with wide eyes as he heard the use of your safe word. He pulled out and stared at you, eyes still wide as checked you all over to make sure you weren't severely hurt anywhere. The only pain he could see was in your eyes, your tear filled eyes.
"I- I'm so sorry are you okay?" he stuttered. You looked at him with glossy eyes and sighed in frustration.
Why did he have to make everything about Draco. He didn't have to be like him.
"Theo! I already told you not to compare yourself to him! You are not him! And I don't want you to be! I gave up my relationship with him to be with you, don't you understand?!" You felt so angry at him, and so sore. Your lower body was burning, and you weren't sure from pain or anger.
"I know darling, I'm so sorry I'll try."
"No! Theo don't say you'll try! Say you will" you said "We've been dating for two months?! Why can't you just accept the fact that you aren't him? You will never be him? And that's okay because I love you, not him." you pleaded him now.
"Yes darling you're right, I-I didn't mean to hurt you" He hugged you and kept apologising in your ear. You felt reassured, but another part of you felt guilty, because you were imagining yourself in someone else's embrace.
---
Theo didn't keep his promise. He still kept trying to be like Draco
"Do these silver rings suit me?"
"Should I start wearing black more?"
"Did Draco usually show affection in public?"
You were surprised he hadn't bleached his hair blonde already.
To be completely honest, you hadn't kept your promise either. You told Theo that you loved him not Draco. Now you were second guessing yourself. You weren't sure you ever fell out of love with Draco. Everything about him was perfect, and the feelings that you felt with him were like no other.
Sure you could confide in Theo, or hug him, and rant on to him. But you couldn't cry in his shoulder, talk about your insecurities, have a comfortable silence, like you did with Draco. With Draco it felt like something special, Theo just felt like a backup.
You would start to spend more time with Draco again. You longed for his touch, his long arms wrapped around your waist, you missed his smile that only you got to see, you missed having him. Draco made it strictly clear that because you were in a relationship, you could not act anything more than platonic with him. You respected that, and you respected Theo, because even though you would gladly run back into Draco's arms, Theo was something you didn't want to lose.
Slowly you felt those butterflies coming back, though you weren't sure they ever left in the first place. Whenever Draco would look at you from across the room, you felt heartache and desire, and when you saw him with other girls you felt jealousy, insecure. He wasn't your boyfriend, but your heart was so used to it.
Theo took notice, he wasn't a fool. He could see you slowly falling for Draco everyday. That's what he was always afraid of, that you would run back to him, that he wasn't good enough for you. That's why he tried so much to be like Draco, so you wouldn't leave him.
Theo felt bad. He felt bad, for keeping you tied to him when you so clearly wanted to be with Draco again. But he loved you, he wished you could have loved him the same way.
He wished he could be enough. But he will ever be him. He was not him.
---
So here he was.
Silence filled the empty space between them as he searched her eyes for any doubt, or conflict.
There was none. Only tears, guilt.
"Y/n I see the way you look at him. It's the same way you looked at him when you were in love with him."
"Theo please! No this can't be happening again" you sobbed. You had already lost one amazing person in your life, and now it was happening all over again.
"You don't have to hide it y/n. I always knew that I wasn't enough for you, I never will be. You can go be happy with him, let him treat you in the ways that I couldn't" he said in a small voice.
"Theo-" you said choking on your sobs.
"No y/n. You don't need to explain." He walked away slowly.
"I loved you. But I'm not him" he said, and disappeared from sight.
---
He left you there, on your knees crying. Head in your hands as you watched yet another loved one walk away from you. Maybe it was you. Maybe you were the problem. Was there a reason that you didn't deserve a healthy love? Where was your happy ending? You didn't have one.
You didn't deserve one. You told yourself.

//
It was the day of the match: gryffindor vs slytherin. The stalls were filled with hundreds of people sporting the colors of the two teams, creating two giant moving blocks of red and green. The teams were already hovering on their brooms throughout the entire pitch and with them, you. You were one of the chasers for the gryffindor team, fast and agile, second only to Harry Potter who dashed through the air at the speed of lightning.
On the other team, the slytherins were getting ready, trying to intimidate your squad with all kinds of dirty looks. They did in fact intimidate you, but not because of their mean glares, because you knew they would have been ready to do anything to win. Much was at stake that day: the victory, the quidditch cup and honor.
When Madame Hooch blew the whistle, everyone sprinted for their respective balls: you went for the quaffle. The game was going smoothly, maybe even too smoothly as you and the other chasers kept on scoring for gryffindor. The reason, as you soon noticed, was because the bludgers weren't hindering you: one of them was currently being thrown around by Fred and George while the other one was ruthlessly pursuing the slytherin seeker, Draco Malfoy. A rogue bludger, you reckoned.
The seeker was trying desperately to get rid of it, but no matter how hard he tried, the bludger was always hot on his tail.
"What are you doing, y/l/n?!" shouted Oliver Wood from his post in front of the giant hoops as you stopped in mid-air to look at Harry and Draco being mercilessly chased by the big iron ball.
"That's a rogue bludger, we have to stop the game!"
"You can't stop quidditch! Plus, it's only helping us, keep scoring!" you scowled at Oliver knowing that nothing was more important than winning the cup for him and resumed the game, but as you took hold of the quaffle, the bludger snapped past you, almost making you lose control of your broom. The slytherin beaters had managed to free Draco from the rogue bludger, but it wasn't long until the ball chased him again.
Both Draco and Harry had now seen the golden snitch and were sprinting to grab it before the other.
"Malfoy!" you shouted at the top of your lungs, but it was of no use. The sudden distraction of the snitch made Draco forget about the bludger that hit him square in the head, causing him to fall down towards the ground at a frightening pace. You rushed towards the boy without a second thought: he might have been your opponent, but such a fall could have even killed him and you wouldn't have allowed it. You caught him inches from the ground and jumped down from your broom, laying him down.
"Malfoy! Hey, Malfoy!" he was unconscious, the bludger had hit him quite well.
Draco might have been done with the bludger, but the bludger wasn't done with Draco: you saw it dashing in the sky and descending at a dangerous speed towards the blond boy. You acted on impulse and covered him with your body, shielding him from the hard sphere that would have surely damaged him even more.
"Y/n! Get away from there!" you heard Fred shouting before the bludger struck you on your back. You let out a harrowing shriek, supporting yourself on your elbows not to crush the boy underneath you. You gritted your teeth as the bludger kept on beating you, only increasing its strength. You felt tears pool in your eyes as you felt your back breaking with every new hit, until it stopped.
Madame Hooch had managed to destroy the rogue bludger and you simply rolled beside Draco's unconscious body, eyes still tightly closed as you felt blood soaking your robes. A large crowd formed around you and the slytherin and you did your best to get up from the ground, but instead clutched your back with your hands, crossing your arms in front of you.
"Oh for Marlin's sake, how are you feeling, dear?" Madame Hooch questioned, looking distraught as she kneeled down in front of you and Draco.
"I'm not complaining. I'm not the one who has been hit in the face by that demonic thing." you managed to breathe out. Talking made the pain in your back even more excruciating and you bit your lip in order not to shriek again, almost drawing blood from your lips.
Dumbledore and other professors had joined the circle that was surrounding you, staving off all of your teammates and the other slytherins, eyes widening after seeing the state in which you and the other boy were in: you were writhing on the ground, trying to find a position in which you wouldn't feel like shards of glass were puncturing your skin, while the slytherin laid completely still on the grass, his platinum blond head now getting increasingly redder in the point the bludger had hit him.
The two of you were immediately brought in the hospital wing and Madame Pomfrey almost killed the professors after seeing two students in such conditions. She cursed quidditch and its 'barbaric ways', all the while examining your back and Draco's head. Madame Pomfrey gave you a glass of some liquid and focused her attention of the boy laying on the bed next to yours.
"Will he be alright?" you asked softly, peeking over her shoulder to see if the blond had awaken yet.
"Drink that and then get some sleep, miss y/l/n. Broken backs are serious stuff and I can't do much for the pain."
"But will he be ok?" you insisted. Madame Pomfrey sighed and turned to you.
"He will, but do yourself a favor and get some sleep. When you will wake up, you'll ask him yourself." that seemed to be enough for you and you drank the glittering liquid in the glass. The pain decreased only slightly, but enough to allow you to fall in a deep slumber. Deep but not peaceful since the only scenes that replayed in your head were the one that happened earlier that day. You found yourself questioning your choices: why did you blindly took his place? Why didn't you just let him on the ground by himself? Not even his teammates had rushed to help him, so why did you? But, as you kept falling more and more asleep, you couldn't find any answer.
The next morning you still felt a searing pain in your back, but it was far more bearable than the night before. You were still half asleep, eyes closed, when you heard someone whispering next to you. You kept your eyes sealed, focusing on the voice to hear it better.
"Come on, wake up. Please wake up." you weren't sure whose voice it was: it was deep and slightly hoarse, as if the person had just stopped crying.
"Come on, you have to wake up. You endured a bloody rogue bludger and you can't wake up?" you heard the voice assert, slightly chuckling and sniffling. The voice stopped talking for a moment. You felt a pair of hands grasping yours and holding it tenderly, drawing mindless pattern on its back.
"I'm pretty sure you can't hear me now, so i want to thank you. You didn't have to do it and yet you did." you recognized the voice to be Draco's, but you remained silent.
"I don't know why, no one would have done what you did, especially a gryffindor." he sniffled once more.
"You have been incredibly daft. You could have been seriously injured and for what? For me? You are an idiot if i ever saw one." he continued, giggling lightly. You could almost picture him in your mind, his bandaged head, his grey teary eyes and his cheeky grin.
"I never thought i would have had a chance with you but now that i almost got you killed i know for a fact." you desperately wanted to open your eyes and tell him that he still had a chance. Hell, he had even more than a chance, but you kept them closed. He remained silent for a few seconds again, still caressing your hand, and then you felt a light drop wet the back of it.
"Please wake up. I need to see you're alright."
"Why?" you asked, opening slightly your eyes with a smug grin on your face. He left your hand and immediately got up and distanced himself from you, thoroughly ashamed.
"How much did you hear?" he asked almost panicked.
"Oh, i don't know... i heard you insulting me though. That's not a very nice thing to do when talking to someone on an hospital bed." you replied cheekily and his cheeks heated up a little. You stretched your arm out and motioned for him to sit down again. When he did, you offered him you hand once more and, after eyeing it suspiciously for a moment, he gingerly took it in his own.
"Do you want to know something funny?" you asked playfully and he raised an eyebrow at you.
"You had a chance with me until you called me an idiot." you stated and he chuckled once more.
"So you heard that too, huh?"
"Seems so."
"Does it hurt?" he asked, suddenly conscious of the whole reason why you were there.
"Less than before. But don't change the topic." you said and you tried to sit up, but underestimated your pain and winced.
"Woah, woah. Stay down, i'll go call Madame Pomfrey." you grasped his hand firmly, preventing him from leaving you alone.
"Don't. I'm fine." he looked at you with concern written all over his face. "Please, stay."
His eyes softened and sat again in his chair, moving it slightly closer to the edge of your bed.
"How's your head?" you asked. As you had imagined, he had a white bandage across his head, with a red stain on the back.
"I'll survive." he shrugged his shoulders before continuing, "Thanks to you." you grinned widely at his words and shook your head in fake disapproval, causing a loose strand of hair to fall in front of your face. He instantly tucked it behind your ear, his hand lingering there before returning in his lap.
"Well, i don't think you would be doing too good if it hadn't been for Madame Pomfrey!" you corrected, still holding his hand in yours.
"Of course, but if it hadn't been for you, Madame Pomfrey couldn't have done much... They told me what you did."
"And...? It was heroic, wasn't it?" you said proudly, feigning superiority with a smug smirk.
"I stand by what i said. You are an idiot if i ever saw one." he replied matter-of-factly, but still in a playful manner.
"Oh, you hurt me, Malfoy!" he tried to stifle a laugh but couldn't and instead shook his head lightly. Your eyes suddenly widened and Draco's did too as soon as he noticed.
"Are you ok? What happened?"
"Who won the match?" Draco stared at you, mouth agape, a look of incredulity in his silvery eyes as he scoffed slightly.
"Well? Who won?" you asked again, expectantly.
"I don't know. Pomfrey hasn't let anyone inside het." you stayed silent, pondering for a few seconds.
"Let's make a deal."
"A deal?"
"A deal. If gryffindor won, i'll forget you ever called me an idiot and we can go on a date."
Draco's lips curled up slightly, "and what if slytherin won?"
You waited for a moment, staring at him in defy.
"Then we don't talk ever again." you said inching closer with your face towards the boy. Draco had a one-sided smile plastered on his face and his eyes narrowed at you. He extended his hand out and you shook it, sealing the deal. Right in that moment, Fred and George burst inside, with Madame Pomfrey in tow, trying to restrain the twins.
"Y/n! Still alive?" shouted Fred.
"Out of here now! They need to rest!"
"Madame Pomfrey, can i talk with them for a moment?" you tried asking, but she was not having any of it.
"You need to rest! You'll see them later!" and she started to usher Fred and George outside by force. You glanced at Draco who was looking at the scene very amused, then back at the twins.
"Who won the match?" you inquired, almost shouting, and the twins managed to respond before being shut outside by Madame Pomfrey.

"Um, excuse me! Excuse me!" you had been running to catch up to him and were almost out of breath as you tried to get him to stop. He wasn't walking very fast but he was extremely far from you so you began running in the hopes of reaching him.
It was your fourth year at Hogwarts and when you had heard that Viktor Krum would have come to your school, you were almost as thrilled as your friend Ron Weasley was. You didn't have a crush on him like every other girl there, not because he wasn't enrapturing, but because you already had someone even more entrancing than him: your boyfriend Draco Malfoy.
The reason why you were so excited to meet him was because ever since you had attended the Quidditch World Cup, a thought never seemed to leave your mind: the Wronksi Feint. A dangerous diversion tactic that Krum had performed exceptionally during the match and that you couldn't just get out of your head.
Therefore, when you saw Viktor Krum finally alone, you decided it was the right moment to ask him about it. You could have read it in books, yes, but having one of the world's best players at your fingertips was an opportunity that you would have never missed.
Krum finally noticed you and turned around, facing you. You took advantage of this to catch your breath as he eyed you awkwardly.
"I'm sorry... i just... i wanted... to ask you something..." you managed to say despite the heavy panting. Viktor's eyes seemed to dull suddenly, but you continued.
"The Wronski Feint... how... did you do it?" you asked, finally catching your breath completely. Viktor's face lit up at the question even though he didn't show it and remained stony.
"You want to know about the Wronski Feint?"
"Yes, i saw you at the World Cup and... how did you manage to stop just inches from the ground?" you asked, curiosity evident in your eyes.
"I can show you if you'd like. It's actually easier than you think once you grasp the basics of it, i-" he kept on talking about Quidditch while you stared at him so absorbed in what he was saying that you didn't notice your boyfriend coming up behind you until he placed one of his usually gentle hands on you shoulders. He got closer to you, keeping his hand firmly in place.
"Oh, hey Draco! Do you know Viktor Krum?" Viktor switched his eyes from you to the blond boy that was glaring at him.
"I think we've met before." you sensed a weird tension in the air and apparently Viktor did too since he intervened, "I have to go now but i'll see you later."
You waved him off, smiling contentedly, then turned to Draco and your smile wore off.
"What's up with you?"
"Nothing." he answered dismissively as he took your hand and guided you towards your next class. "Why did he say he'd see you later?"
"Are you jealous?" you teased playfully, grinning again.
"Of course I am. What do you expect me to be?" he scoffed, a clear frown on his face. "So? What are you doing together that got you giggling like that?"
"Oh you know, i asked him if we could snog because i am so completely enamoured with him." you taunted and his frown only deepened. "I'm kidding, Draco."
"I know."
"Didn't look like that from the look on your face..." you gave him a quick peck on the cheek that made Draco instantly forget about his previous disappointment and capture your lips in a real kiss, then the two of you separated to go to your respective classes.
At the end of your lessons, you met with Viktor Krum on the Quidditch pitch, just as you had planned. You had changed in more comfortable clothes and you noticed that Viktor did too, now wearing his team robes.
"Are you ready?" he asked calmly and you nodded eagerly. "Well then come on."
He mounted his broom and motioned for you to join him, causing your eyes to widen greatly.
"Didn't you want to see the Feint?"
"I- yes, but i thought from the ground..." you confessed.
"To really understand it, you have to try it. Well?" You stepped closer and sat behind him on the broom. "I suggest you find something to hold on to."
He soared up in the sky rapidly and you swiftly clutched his torso to avoid a grievous fall. Despite your added weight, he dashed through the air like an arrow, gaining speed and going even higher. When he arrived at a height he considered appropriate he stopped.
"Are you ready?" you grasped him a little tighter, knowing you would have needed it and answered affirmatively.
Just as Viktor started descending at swirling speed, Draco entered the pitch, placing himself near the bleachers to watch. The frown he had just hours before resurfaced on his features, turning slowly into a scowl as he noticed you hugging the boy.
Viktor landed safely on the ground and you instantly hugged him.
"Thank you! That was amazing, i still don't know how you did it but it was incredible!"
"Glad you liked it." Viktor gave you the smallest of smiles but it soon faltered as he saw Draco approaching. You immediately noticed Draco's expression and deemed it best to leave Viktor.
"Thank you again, really! I'll see you around!" Viktor simply nodded and you rushed towards the Draco.
"Hey, did you see that?" you asked excitedly.
"I saw how close you two were indeed." he affirmed haughtily.
"He was showing me the Wronksi Feint!" you said frantically, "Would you have preferred me to fall, maybe?"
"Of course not..." he said not quite meeting your eyes. "But i could have taught you, not that Krum."
"But you don't know that move!"
"I could have learned it and then taught it to you!" he said as if it was the most normal thing ever. You giggled and he smiled too upon seeing you so happy. You slung your arms around his neck and neared your faces.
"Well, i could teach you now." Draco closed the distance between you two in a soft kiss.

I used like three sentences from the song somebody to love by queen, which is a bop if you didn't know it already. (Also, requests are open and i desperately need new ideas.)
//
It was a saturday afternoon and you were sat on the sleek green couch of the slytherin common room along with your fellow housemates. Pansy was telling some ridiculous story about transfiguration but you were focused on the music that was playing in the background, slowly drifting off. You were so engrossed in the symphony that you didn't even notice a pair of silver eyes watching you intently. Draco Malfoy was ignoring Pansy too, far more interested in you.
You and Draco had been dating for quite some time now, but in secret. Not even your housemates knew about the two of you and you wanted to keep it that way, at least until you were ready.
"Y/n, are you even listening?" asked Pansy rhetorically, already knowing the answer.
"Yes! Of course i am!" you quickly lied and let out an offended scoff.
"What was i saying then?" Pansy inquired, crossing her arms against her chest and raising her brow demandingly. The other slytherins chuckled lowly while you struggled to remember even a word she had said. Suddenly, the song changed and you took advantage of the fortunate coincidence.
"That's my favourite song!" you said as you got up to turn up the volume.
"Don't change the topic, y/n!" Pansy warned, but you reached out for her hands and pulled her up from the couch, twirling her around. She tried to remain serious, but it was impossible as you danced with her in the silliest way possible. She laughed helplessly as you sang the words of the song with a fake dignified tone. Everyone was watching the scene amused but Draco who was gazing at you with what could only be described as genuine love in his eyes.
You and Pansy were now singing together, putting on quite the show for your friends. As you sang the main voice, she recited the choruses, grasping the hand of Blaise and dragging him to dance with the two of you. He tried resisting but you firmly gripped his other hand and successfully made him join your dance number.
You and Pansy then stretched your arms out to gran the others: slowly everyone was rising from their seats to dance in front of the fire cheerily. Pansy had seized Draco's arm, pulling him in the circle with all of you, but as he got up, Theo bumped into him, making him consequentially bump into someone else, you. He placed his hands on your shoulders to steady you and you smiled up at him. He wished for nothing more than to kiss you in that moment. Even in your current state, cheeks red from the frantic dancing and hair slightly messy, he couldn't think of anyone or anything prettier. He refrained himself from cupping your face right then and there and instead released you and made his way towards the couch once again. You tried to stop him but he kept going and plopped down on it, leaning back with an amused look on his face as he saw your disapproving pout.
The song changed yet again and the small crowd momentarily silenced to find out what the next song was.
"Can anybody..." you started singing with the song going under you.
"Find me..." Pansy was again duetting with you, singing the secondary parts with an exaggerated flair that was typical of her.
"Somebody to..." you stared at Pansy, then Theo and the others as you kept on singing, before settling on the blond boy on the couch.
"Love." the song picked up its rhythm and the words went on but your eyes remained trained on the boy who was now gazing at you as if making a decision. He had decided and got up quickly, pulling you up from the ground and placing you on his shoulder with your head facing your friends as he made his way outside the common room. Everyone had either a shocked or knowing look on his face as you tried to get him to set you down. You were still giggling uncontrollably when he finally let your feet on the ground again in the corridor outside the common room.
"What are you-" you were cut off by his lips enclosing yours in a rushed kiss.
"Woah, what happened?" but he gave you no answer, instead taking in your lips for another searing kiss. As you slowly pulled apart you felt the stares of a few people peeking through the door and staring at the two of you dumbfounded. You let out a small laugh and so did Draco before raising his brow at them.
"Have you all nothing better to do?" he asked with his eyes set on the lot but with his face still incredibly close to yours. Pansy was frozen in place, gaping at you, but Blaise took the matter in his hands.
"Come on, come on, let the two lovebirds have their moment alone." he said as he dispelled the astonished students.
"Don't call us that." said Draco menacingly.
"I won't" he said as he was closing the door, letting only his head through the long slot, "lovebirds."

This is not inspired by the song in any way, but the title was fitting sooo
//
You and Draco had been friends for a very long time, since you could remember, and yet it wasn't unusual for you to be found arguing with the blond at least once a day. Sometimes you would argue about his rude attitude or the latest student he had bullied, but most of the times you simply wanted to tease him. Apparently, seeing what new witty remark he could come up with was the highlight of you day. You loved the banter that characterized your friendship and you couldn't really imagine your life without it.
"I'm telling you, you two are made for each other!" squealed Pansy from the big couch in your common room.
"We are just friends, Pansy! Friends!" you replied incredulously as you plopped down beside her.
"Yeah, just friends... Y/n, it's so obvious!"
"Are you sure you're okay?" you asked feigning concern as you put your hand on her forehead to check her temperature.
"Oh, shove off!" she scolded, swatting your hand away. "Don't tell me you've never thought about it!"
"Of course not!" you lied.
You had thought about you and Draco being something more quite a few times now, but the prospect of ruining everything was enough for you to put that thought aside. You found yourself daydreaming about his soft blond hair and his sharp jawline more than you cared to admit. Not to talk about his eyes, always looking at you and making you feel as if you were the most precious thing in the world.
But you couldn't ruin your friendship. He probably didn't feel the same way and even if he did you couldn't risk losing what you had. The ease, the trust, the teasing.
In that moment, someone descended the stairs of the boys' dormitory, Draco. You and Pansy looked up at him, eyes wide. He stopped behind the couch, confused by the weird stares that you and Pansy were giving him.
"What?"
"Have you heard us?" you asked, slightly panicked. You didn't know why you were feeling this anxious, maybe some part of you wanted him to feel something for you other than friendly affection.
"Why? Were you talking about me?" his face instantly lit up with a smug smile and he leaned on the couch with his elbows.
"Why yes, in fact. I was just telling Pansy how immensely insufferable you are." you retorted, feeling incredibly relieved knowing that he hadn't heard you.
He got up from his previous place and resumed his path towards the door of the common room, scoffing. Before exiting, he added another comment, smirking playfully, "Oh and Pansy, me and y/l/n? Really? I hoped you thought more highly of me."
You knew it was nothing more than a joke, but why did it hurt? He had obviously heard you, he heard you saying that you couldn't even picture him as your boyfriend and he had said the same thing, yet it hurt more than you imagined. Maybe Pansy was right.
The next few days, you tried to forget about your new-found feelings for your best friend and your last conversation, but it was easier said than done. You felt as if you owed him some kind of explanation even though he expressively said he saw you just as a friend. Nothing more.
"Draco, wait a moment!" you began, preventing him from entering your first class of the day. He simply raised his brows and you continued.
"I wanted to apologize. For the other day. I shouldn't have said that."
"Said what?" you rolled your eyes, he was one of the smartest people you knew and yet he could be really daft sometimes.
"About you. That i could never see you as something else."
"But you are right. We are friends, nothing else." with that he left you alone and entered the classroom. You didn't know whether his answer cheered you up or devastated you. Definitely the second.
You tried behaving as always, but he seemed to be ignoring you. You had almost all of your classes together and yet he managed to avoid you every single time. Even when you could actually talk to him, he was different, he was suddenly very cold. He was with everyone but he had never been with you and this really bothered you. So you decided to confront him, you decided that you would have told him what you felt: your friendship was already in jeopardy, might as well completely ruin it. The idea terrified you, Draco had always been by your side and imagining a life without him seemed impossible. Maybe you did like him. Maybe you did love him.
"Draco! Draco, we have to talk!" but Draco sped up, not even glancing up. He had no right to ignore you like that so you quickened your pace to match his.
"Draco, we need to talk!" but the boy continued on walking, ignoring you completely.
"Fine! If you don't want to talk, you are going to listen." you asserted and Draco simply covered his ears. Mouth agape, you stared at him, still walking, almost running. The audacity of this man.
You swatted his hands away and he glared at you. He had never glared at you, not in that way. Pure hatred seemed to dance in his icy eyes, even colder than usual. You took a deep breath and started your speech which eventually turned in an incoherent mumbling.
"Listen Draco, i don't know what i did to deserve this, but i highly doubt i did something so spiteful to earn this kind of treatment." he still wasn't looking at you and continued his way towards the common room, but in his eyes something changed, he looked almost ashamed.
"You are incredibly important to me, you've never shown me anything but support and that's why i could never forgive myself if i involuntarily hurt you in some way. You are my best friend, for Merlin's sake!" Draco's eyes seemed to harden again and a scowl started to paint on his face.
"And i won't deny you that you're even more than a friend to me." Draco finally side glanced at you as the two of you were now walking up the stairs, surrounded by hundred of paintings looking at you curiously.
"I care about you so much and you don't even look at me. Every day i look forward to see your stupid face and hear your stupid voice, to have one of our usual stupid conversations and hear your stupid laugh so that every night i can go to sleep and think about your beautiful face and your beautiful voice, about our conversations and your laugh that i wouldn't trade for the whole bloody world." Draco was proceeding increasingly slower and you were walking side by side, trying to get him to look you in the eyes as you kept on going upwards.
"At least look at me, you stupid, unbearable, prissy, arrogant, pretty, handsome git!" your face was red with anger but he didn't stop. "Because what i'm trying to tell you is that i l-"
Draco abruptly grasped your waist and pulled you closer to him. You had been so engrossed in your discourse that you hadn't even noticed that the stairs were changing and that you were about to fall, one foot already dangling in the air. But Draco caught you and you were now pressed against his chest while he gazed at the void you were about to fall in. His chest rose up and down wildly and you could hear his heart thumping at a ridiculously quick pace under your cheek.
The stairs stopped again in front of a corridor but neither of you seemed to able to move. Then, Draco grasped your shoulders pulling you away from him but still exceedingly close.
"Are you ok?" his eyes searched yours for any signs of hurt and you just stared back.
"Are you talking to me now?" you asked sternly, making his expression go from one of concern to one of sorrow in a matter of seconds.
"I'm sorry, y/n." he admitted, eyes glinting as he held you firmly in front of him.
"For what? For being an asshole?"
"For not telling you before that i never wished for us to be just friends." his unexpected confession caused you to stare at him for a few seconds before a huge grin spread on your face and you took his pale face in your hands, which turned bright pink at the sudden contact. You kissed him, you finally kissed him.
"I advise keeping such displays of affection for closed doors." boomed a voice in front of you and you and Draco leapt backwards, clinging to the railing behind you with both hands. Snape eyed each of you with scorn before passing between you two and descending the stairs. "10 points from Slytherin."
As he got out of your sight, you couldn't help but burst out laughing and Draco followed swiftly. You then looked down at your feet, a big grin still plastered on your face. He inched closer, lifting your chin up to face him.
"So... you think i'm handsome." he said smugly.
"I also said that you are unbearable."
"Yes, but you think i'm handsome."
"But i-" he cut you off by reconnecting your lips together.
"I have to admit that i kinda like this new way of shutting me up."

"I give you permission to imagine me in his place, y/n." whispered Fred in your ear after you had spun the bottle in the middle of the room. You rolled your eyes and pouted at him mockingly, heading towards the broom closet.
"I'm not going in there with a filthy gryffindor!" spat none other than Draco Malfoy. As usual, he had a deep scowl adorning his incredibly geometrical face, but what was new was the slightly red hue covering his cheeks. You had never seen Draco's pale complexion redden that way but you didn't give it too much thought as you eyed him curiously.
"I don't make the rules." said Blaise Zabini, incredibly amused by the situation, and Draco shot him a deathly glare.
"Scared, Malfoy? I promise i don't bite." you said playfully, crossing your arms in front of your chest. Draco opened his mouth to retort but was left speechless when you firmly gripped his hand and dragged him inside the closet, turning your head only to see Fred mimicking what vaguely reminded a person kissing someone and shot him a middle finger.
"Seven minutes starting now!" said Blaise as he closed the door, locking you and Draco inside. Draco was still staring lips slightly parted at your hand holding his and you quickly freed him.
"Sorry, it's a bet." you stated matter-of-factly. Draco looked up at you with an eyebrow raised.
"I lost a bet with Fred and he wants me to kiss you." Draco's cheeks grew even redder than before as he visibly gulped and silently thanked Merlin that the room was dark enough to cover his embarrassment. He was about to move closer, but you interrupted him. "We don't actually have to do it, but i would appreciate it if you could go along with it."
You stared at him expectantly, but Draco was frozen in place, mouth still agape and unable to form a coherent sentence.
"Of course i don't expect you to help me without a-"
"I will." Draco suddenly spoke, his voice barely a whisper.
"-reward, so i would owe you a favour. Whatever you need, unless it's some-"
"I said i will." Draco spoke again, now slightly more confident as he placed his hands on your shoulders to interrupt your mumbling. You looked up at him and saw a cheeky grin on his face, one you'd never seen before.
"You will?!" you asked dumbfoundedly widening your eyes.
"I already said yes."
"Great! Why?" you asked, suddenly aware of his odd agreement. His cheeks were now as red as Fred's hair because he didn't know what to answer. He couldn't possibly tell you that he didn't despise you as much as you thought, that he could have even felt something other than disgust for you, that said something might have been love.
"So what do you want? I can do your homework if you want, but mind you i'm terrible at-"
"I think i'll keep said favour in mind and ask you when i know." he interrupted you again and removed his hands from your shoulders, eyes now set on the ground with a shy grin plastered on his face, glad you forgot about the previous question.
"Fine, but nothing too weird."
"That's up to me, you said 'whatever i need' if i'm not mistaken." he wasn't and you knew it. You bit your lip annoyed and a cheeky smile replaced the one he had on his face just moments before.
An uncomfortable silence settled between the two of you and Draco decided to break it, "So now what?"
"We wait, i guess." you said, slumping down against the wall. Draco followed suit and sat next to you. Your knees briefly brushed and he quickly distanced himself from you.
"What do people do in here other than... you know..."
"Making out?" you said playfully, moving your face closer to his and raising your brows. "I can't believe the great Draco Malfoy is scared of these two simple words..."
"I'm not scared." he said sternly, "I was looking for a more refined word to use..."
He lifted his chin up in fake superiority and continued, "like snogging."
You simply scoffed at this and let out a small laugh, looking away.
"I see, far more refined." you added, exteding your legs despite the little space of the closet.
"Do you like the black lake?" you broke the silence once again, fidgeting your hands in your lap. "You slytherins live underneath the lake, isn't it nice?"
Draco remained silent for a few moments, unsure why you had begun making conversation with him, trying to find the right words.
"I can't believe i'm saying this, but i quite envy you gryffindors. Well, i envy your tower. The lake is nice, but it gets boring after a while." you looked at him wide eyed, as if he had just said something utterly shocking.
"Are you kidding me? The tower gets boring! Nothing but the sky and at night you can't even see what's underneath!" he lightly chuckled at your sudden outburst and continued.
"But you can see what's upwards." your eyes were now watching him intently, wondering why you'd never thought about it. "That's why i- nevermind."
"No, continue, please." you encouraged him and placed your hand on his knee. Draco felt a warmness spreading inside him and opened his mouth to continue but was interrupted by a voice coming from outside.
"Seven minutes are up, are you presentable?"
"Just a moment!" you said urgently, before jumping up and extending your hands for Draco to take. You stopped his hand from opening the door, instead you connected yours with his hair and mercilessly ruffled it.
"What the bloody hell are you doing?!" he questioned as he swatted your hands away.
"They have to believe we did something in here, don't they?" you whispered and he seemed to ponder it. He then extended his hand towards your face and gently swiped his thumb across your lips, successfully smearing your makeup. You were completely immobile and stared at him with wide eyes as he brought his thumb to his lips and stroked them lightly, staining them with your lipstick.
"There, they have to believe we did something in here, don't they?" he repeated, mocking you playfully. You smirked at him and loosened his tie the slightest bit before finally opening the door. You weren't even fully outside that another couple rushed inside, closing the door behind you.
"Looks like you had fun, another round?" asked Blaise nudging Draco in the side, but Draco simply made his way outside of the common room, leaving you there slightly confused.
For a moment, you believed that there could have been something between you and the blond boy, but his sudden actions left you doubtful. You tried following him, but a hand grasped your forearm.
"Well then?" it was Fred, grinning widely.
"What? I did it, we're even now!" you said dismissively as you tried to free yourself from his grip.
"How was it? Kissing Malfoy? Like you expected? Did he reciprocate?"
"It was... normal, i guess." you lied, "I have to go now, see you tomorrow, okay?" his hand released you and you made your way out, leaving Fred with a very confused expression on his face.
When you got outside, the corridor was completely empty and there was no sign of Draco anywhere. You started thinking about where he could have been and an idea suddenly struck you. Your feet increased their pace faster and faster until you reached a long stairway. You ascended the stairs quickly and when you almost arrived at the top, you slowed down. You peaked your head inside the astronomy tower and noticed a tall figure leaning on the railing, looking upwards. You made your way towards the figure and leaned on the railing beside it. Draco turned his head and noticed you looking up too. He returned his gaze to the sky and another silence fell between you, much more comfortable than before.
"You didn't finish your sentence." you said in an almost imperceptible whisper.
"How did you know where to find me?" he asked instead of answering your previous question.
"I had a feeling you'd be here." Draco simply looked at you, eyes bright like stars. "You were right. Maybe i should have focused more on what's upwards."
"Y/n." you averted your eyes from the starts to look at him and nodded, signaling for him to go on.
"I think i know what favour i want." you giggled lightly and raised your eyebrows, still smiling.
"And what would that be?" he kept his eyes on you and waited a few moments.
"Kiss me." your lips slightly parted but when you noticed his gaze growing doubtful you smiled widely.
"I think i can manage." and you smashed your lips against his. He quickly returned the kiss, hands bringing you closer and cupping your cheek gingerly. You moved your hands to the back of his neck, softly tugging at the short strands of hair in the back. You pulled away gasping for breath and he waisted no time trailing kisses along your jaw and down your neck, making you tilt it slightly to give him more access. You then guided him back to your lips and kissed his once more.
"Guess i'm not a 'filthy gryffindor' anymore, uh?" you asked gazing defiantly in his eyes. He grinned and replied, "Maybe i was wrong."
