I find I tend to gravitate to fire types! They look cool, or cute, or downright badass (and sometimes all of the above) and can be really useful in battle. I’ve always, always had a soft spot for Growlithe, Vulpix and Ninetales, and of course Charizard.
Dark types are a close second.
Unown- Something that confuses you about the pokemon universe
Hm... possibly - no, definitely - how do cities work? I mean, in Lumiose we see cars and also Skiddo/Gogoat. In Unova we see cars and trucks going down the freeway across a bridge, but never in cities. While this is easily explained from a gameplay viewpoint as ‘the player character won’t need to go into these areas, it’d take up game data and time we don’t need to spend’ etc, but as someone who writes fic, that kind of world building of ‘how does this fit in with that’ - are there car routes from one town to another? How easy is it to get to different places without Pokemon? Are trainers the only ones able to freely travel anywhere without someone to protect them?
In Pokemon Special, Wallace and a few others are seen with floating cars. They work on roads but also in the air, maintaining that the routes that the player walked on are the only ways from one place to another most of the time.
Just... all of that, really.
Hey, maybe at some point there’ll be a game where the effects of a lot of traffic and trains running up and down the country, busses to get to one area or another. Maybe it could have a London setting.
