I have a new one shot idea, set in Dracoria.

So I have two ocs with designs based on the Ikran and the Toruk from Avatar.

Their names are Tarasyn and Anayasi.

Originally they were skykid ocs (sky cotl player here)

And then I decided to turn them into witches/warlocks/something like that.

There's a cult.

Why do I keep making cults. There's three nowww TT

At least this one isn't for Klinok. It's for Tarasyn.

I might go further into the story tomorrow/later, but right now I gotta go to bed.

Here is the skykid version of their designs.

The designs have changed quite a bit (especially Tarasyn) (Tarasyn is the Toruk character, Anayasi is the Ikran based character)

As Skykids, they were just friends that went on adventures through the sky kingdom together, nothing really weird or bad. Just. Kids.

But as cultists, it's a bit different. :P

Art of the characters I was gonna have in the session for yesterday.

They only got to meet the ones holding the hammer and spears.

They also met the hippogriffs and one owldrake but my phone was dying and I was getting tired of the session by that point so I was like

Fine whatever, the hippogriffs think you guys are chill and offer to let you skip over a lot of the sky islands

And then for the owl drakes I was tired of combat so I rolled for whether each one wanted to fight or not and only one of them rolled high enough.

They decided to fight the hammer and spear wielding angels, sneak around the falconer and woodcarver, and then they skipped over the archer and swordsman with the hippogriffs.

Fun fact-

Hammar is a golden eagle, the spears are red tailed hawks, the last top one is a peregrine falcon, falconer is a crane, archer is a harpy eagle, swordsman is a secretary bird, and the woodcarver is an American robin.

I might use these characters later on because I worked too hard to get these lil shits drawn and colored in time just for them to not be seen.

Golden eagle and peregrine falcon are partners and the red tailed hawks are their little shits (children)(adopted maybe)

I love birds.

This session went so bad oh my godd

Two players were gone or had to leave halfway through

And I'm still unsure if we're really playing in My world or if it's a typical DND world.

What the fuck.

Should I kick off the players I feel don't Actually care about the world?

I guess I should probably talk to them about it first..

And the last player that wanted to play said they didn't feel comfortable in the group call- which I understand, I get it. But still disappointing.

I was so excited for my second session, but man it kinda sucked.

It didn't help that my map and half the characters I took So Much fucking time drawing and coloring didn't get to be shown.

I'm gonna post their designs tomorrow so that someone gets to enjoy it.

The temple names! :D

Ignore the clay nails at the top, thas for my fox costume.

Dracora's temple is simple- literally just Temple of Dracora

Lapis's temple is called the Tower to the Sky

Dradvow's temple is gonna be the Fortress of the Underworld

Anahita's temple name might be changed but for now it's the Coral City in the Sea

Arashi's temple name has been concrete for a long time, it's called the Temple of the Storm Serpent

Might change this one too, but Taiyo and Tsuki's temples are Temple of the Flaming Eye and Temple of the Frozen Eye (connected to each other by the Eclipse Bridge)

Luma and Umbra share a temple called the Idle of Rays and Shade

Zlo and virtue/Duality have three temples that I'm counting as one becuz fuk you, the part for Virtue is Tower of the Blessed, the part for Zlo is the Labyrinth of Smoke and Mirrors, and the final part for Duality is the Coliseum of Balance (spoilers, but the party is gonna fight Duality there)

The temple for Mortis is gonna be called the Shrine to the Dead

The temple for Vitalis is gonna be called the Blooming City/Ziggurat (the ziggurat is gonna be at the top of the city)

Koedmai's temple is gonna be called the Isle of Rebirth

And IF we do Chrona and Karma, their temples will be the Clockwork Citadel/Tower and the Tower of Judgement respectively.

I do kinda wanna do something steampunk related (which is why I kinda wanna do Chrona's temple) but if the players decide not to, I suppose I won't 😔

Can you guys give me some riddle ideas or puzzle ideas?

The temple of the sky/lapis session is soon and I wanna have a puzzle for them to get into the temple.

I have the idea to like, have them look for pieces of the key or something, but idk what to do for clues to the locations other than "there's five pieces and they're somewhere on this island"

So. I need some riddles/clues for that.

And, I wouldn't complain if you guys had more ideas for later puzzles n stuff 👀

The party is guaranteed to meet the hippogriff and they can sneak past the owldrakes.

I'm always going to give them consequences for killing the creatures/people they fight. Chasing off also has consequences, so that'll be fun.

I'm still working on drawing the angel encounters, but I'll post them later when I finish drawing and coloring (they're gonna be digital)

Also yes, the hippogriff is based on Zelda's loftwing from skyward sword.

I like the shoebill stork look. They look so intimidating. Perfect for scary bird honse.

I think I'm gonna keep this little rule in my campaign

No killing in temples, and killing people will have consequences always.

I hope that by the end of the campaign, all of my players are either perfect little saints (unlikely) or being hunted by literally everything (since every living being has some firm of consciousness in this world)

They'll likely have a mix, but imagine if they got the hint. That would be so great.

But my brother promised to make them fight even if it's optional.

Smh he's so annoying.

My first session as dm can be summarized as this:

Very awkward and I was nervous and didn't know what I was doing.

After a bit I got into the flow though, and the session got going! :D

My first session was very unplanned and rushed, but I knew at least a few things I wanted to do-

Meet a unicorn, meet the plot armored human guy, and get to the temple.

Had zero plans for the temple itself or what they needed to do or puzzles -_-

So it started with them at the bottom of a mountain at a trailhead. My explanation of why they were there was basically "you guys saw a mountain and thought it'd be cool to climb".

They walk along the trail a bit- beautiful sights n stuff, not much else to say about it. Then they spot a unicorn that's off the trail a little bit, but is watching them.

After a little bit of kind of back and forth, one of the characters manages to get the unicorn to go away without a fight.

After a bit they meet Gopalo, human plot armor guy.

Gopalo tells them about a temple and they're like "sounds cool" and so they follow Gopalo to the temple.

At this point, I had no idea what to do next.

They found the temple, went down some stairs, and found an empty room with pillars and a little shrine thingy.

It took so long for them to roll high enough to find the thingy to open hole in the ground TT

The hole in the ground led to an underground bioluminescent garden because I thought that'd be cool I guess.

All three of them get drenched in water because they're idiots and a meep (cat x sea slug creature) judges them.

Then one of the characters kills a snake and destroys the temple. And the other character almost died three times. Luckily Gopalo was there to drag them along and not let them get crushed by rocks.

It was wonderfully chaotic, and I'm doing a mini session on Friday then another temple on Saturday.

I'll explain the mini session plans after this post.
