Drafting Process:
Something that I have learned from the drafting process within this course is that it is not something that is a quick task to accomplish. While drafting many of these essays, I have learned how much time and effort goes into crafting a well-written, academic essay, that conveys a meaningful message to your audience. I have also learned that when creating a checklist to track my progress, I tend to find many other aspects within my paper that need to be revised, or looked at again to receive accurate feedback. Drafting essays throughout this course has given me an improved approach to revising an essay. I identify weaknesses (and strengths), that I wouldn't have found before. It has taught me so many various skills about using resources and critical thinking. This long and strenuous drafting process has also taught me that it is okay to ask peers for help, and rely on their feedback, not to be afraid of all the "mistakes" made. Rather, it is just the beginning of the brainstorming process!
