*Yeah, that'd probably be best.* She nodded as he switched the robot off. *You know, I bet that once you're back to normal, if we worked together, we could have the whole clipper back up and running. Wouldn't that be cool?* She grinned, rubbing a spot on the metal off with her elbow. She was nothing if not an optimistic thinker.
Nightlight smiled at her and nodded. Together he knew they could. It would sure go faster then his long time he'd worked here trying to fix things.
It took her a minute or two to find the opening on the bot, pulling the screws out and setting them aside. She tinkered along, humming a tune to herself, and within the hour, she had one moonbot up and running, though it did have a few stutters. The fairy lit upon its head, dusting her hands. *There's one. I took a couple parts from the others to put into this guy here. Not too shabby~*
Nightlight watched and gave an approving nod, though he did gently turn it back off. The poor thing still stuttering and needing a full reboot he'd drag it there later.
*Oh! I see now? For me? Awh, firefly, you spoil me~* The fairy beamed, zipping around to get a look at the others. *These are amazing! I've never actually gotten the chance to get a look inside one..*
He smiled sitting back easily to watch her.
*Oh my!* Tinkerbell zipped off from her perch, alighting upon one of the moonbots. *I've seen these guys around. Poor things, they're all torn up.. I bet you I could fix a couple. Whatever's left can be used for other things.*
Nightlight nodded. Pointing to her. What ones couldn't be fixed, the parts he was giving to her.
Tinkerbell was jostled slightly when Nightlight began to move, walking along. *Something you want me to see?* She asked, holding on so she wouldn't fall.
Nightlight only smiled. Yes, Something he wanted her to see. Bringing her finally to a room where a number of moon bots stood still. In different states of disrepair but they were ones that Nightlight had not been able to find the parts to fix. He motioned to them for her to see. What gears or parts she might wish to tinker with, were hers.
She looked down, seeing the look he gave her. * Well, you see, There's a certain amaount of work I have to get done each day. Repairs, deliveries, whatnot. Apparently I've been exceeding my quota.*
He blinked eyes wide. He knew he was a workaholic but he certainly didn't expect that of Tinkerbell... then again he had watched her tinker around with the stuff in the Moon Clipper.
Speaking of...
Making sure not to dislodge her Nightlight got up and started to walk a little deeper into the Clipper. He had something to show her.
*And, I think the queen might know about me coming to visit you. But She hasn't said anything yet. Maybe because my productivity has increased..* She patted one of his scales idly.
That got a chuckle out of him. Well at least Tinkerbell wasn't getting into trouble because of him. That was good. Though hearing her productivity had increased caught his interest, and a questioning look.
Smiling, the fairy pecked his cheek before going to settle atop his head, enjoying the warmth. *So, I'll be heading back to neverland before long. Summer's almost over, and the autumn fairies have to come in soon. So, we might be seeing more of each other~*
Nightlight smiled glad to hear he'd see her a little more. Settling himself down to listen to her. No sense trying to figure out how to fly while she was sitting on his head.
