Dream is here! That's all of the Dream Team shown! He is the fasted flier thanks to his four wings. Those four wings are also the best blankets for cuddles uwu
And in case anyone was wondering, yes there is in fact a height chart for them lol.
You don’t have to aw see this if you haven’t read it but hear me out- a wings of fire dsmp g/t au.
Oh I love this so much. I’ve actually had many g/t thoughts about this before so I ended up writing a whole first chapter lol. I’m making Sapnap a SkyWing and George a Night-Sea hybrid and Dream a scavenger.
This should make sense even if you aren’t familiar with this series! All you need to know is that humans are called scavengers and that dragons think humans are just animals. Also George has mind reading abilities, although since he’s a hybrid they’re weaker and harder to control.

George spreads his wings and slows down to a glide, tilting his head as he tries to pinpoint what he's picking up from the sandy desert below.
Frantic little thoughts from somewhere near the oasis, spinning around in circles as whoever it is tries to figure something out. It takes George a second to realize that these thoughts don't seem to be coming from a dragon.
. . .that's interesting.
Sapnap flares his wings, looping around George and showing off his fangs in a grin, his thoughts a blur of victorious slowpoke HAH he's already getting tired wait is he okay- "Don't tell me you already need a break. Desert too hot for you?"
"I think I hear a scavenger," George explains; Sapnap's thoughts spike, immediately excited by the possibility of hunt and prey and CRUNCH between my jaws, squirming screeching blood wetting my throat when it's finally caught. "Down by that little oasis. But it sounds-"
"Dibs!" Sapnap screeches, folding his wings before plummeting into a dive, snapping them open at the last second to avoid a clumsy tumble. It's immediately obvious the moment the scavenger hears him because its thoughts almost seem to collapse, all completely focused on the terror it's feeling, much stronger than George has ever felt from any of the captive scavengers before.
Their thoughts had all seemed duller, the fear just an underlying constant thread in their thoughts whenever their prey instincts kicked in. This scavenger's thoughts seem almost sharp and the panic it's feeling is strong enough to make George's wingbeats stutter. It isn't thinking specific words but George is still able to understand enough.
"Sapnap!" George yelps, spinning around and quickly flapping his wings, silently cursing the fact that Sapnap's such a faster flier than he is. "Sap, wait!"
Flashes of fangs and claws nearly tearing into him and George flinches badly, unable to fight the urge to twist his neck to make sure there isn't actually anything pouncing on him. It's nearly as intense as that time Bad had gotten caught in a cave-in and George had no choice but to listen and hope that he wouldn't have to feel his friend die.
Sapnap's thoughts whirl in confusion once he hears George shouting; they start out grumpy at first, complaining about how George can hunt his own prey yes he heard it first but I'm CATCHING it first I'm nicer than he is I'll at least SHARE but they quickly trail off into wait he's actually upset what's wrong is there DANGER?
George lands, talons digging into the soft sand as he barely keeps from toppling over, wings spread to help keep his balance. Sapnap lets out a hiss, smoke rising from his nostrils as he glances around, clearly prepared for a fight.
The fear from the scavenger has somehow impossibly become louder. George does his best to tune it out, bundling up the thoughts and moving them to the side so that they're no longer demanding his full attention.
"Don't eat the scavenger yet," George explains, folding his wings. "There's something I need to figure out first, then you can have it."
Sapnap huffs, thoughts bubbling as irritation rises to the surface although there is genuine concern tangled through it all. George isn't able to ignore it since he's so focused on tuning out the scavenger's fear. "I know you don't like hearing them, don't worry, I'll do it quick. You can have a limb if you want?"
George shakes his head. "This scavenger. . .it sounds different. I need to figure that out first."
Sapnap wrinkles his snout, but his thoughts are much less upset than his body language is. A jumble of is he saying that scavengers have ACCENTS he can learn this with another scavenger I'm HUNGRY unless he actually means something interesting but I've been flying all day and I'm HUNGRY but maybe this will be actually interesting maybe I should let him- "Okay, fine, you can have it. But give it to me once you figure it out."
"Of course," George agrees. "Help me catch it, just don't crush it."
"No promises," Sapnap mutters, but he's already focusing on gentle careful talons like Bad taught don't crush remember the melon you crushed it was a mess don't repeat that even though it would be yummy so George isn't worried.
He hesitantly turns all his focus to the scavenger, already bracing himself to be hit by an overwhelming wave of fear, but he finds himself taken completely by surprise.
There's definitely fear as the scavenger hides in its tunnels underneath the sand, a little bit further away than George had expected, and each time one of them makes a noise the fear takes over the scavenger's mind for a second. But underneath it all George can sense something. Frantic humming little thoughts that seem a bit more focused than George would've expected.
He can't tell what the scavenger is actually thinking, there aren't any words for him to pick up and everything's messy compared to listening to a fellow dragon's thoughts. But it's definitely thinking something that seems to be a bit more complex than simple prey instincts screaming fight-or-flight.
Interesting.
"I'll flush it out," George explains, speaking quietly as he moves forward until he's standing right over the scavenger's hiding spot. "You catch it."
He can't hear Sapnap's thoughts at the moment but he does see the SkyWing sink into a crouch, talons curled in preparation to snatch up the scavenger, so he turns his attention to the ground under his own feet.
The scavenger moves back a bit more but stops when George's footsteps follow. George tries to listen to its thoughts and figure out how much deeper its tunnel goes but he can't figure out anything specific. He can just tell how terrified it is of being crushed because that concept is the focus of the scavenger's mind right now.
. . .seems oddly specific for a prey to be worried about how exactly it would die. He wonders if cows have similar fears except he can't hear cows when they think and he's starting to realize that maybe there's a reason that he can hear scavengers.
I'm not going to be able to listen to its thoughts and get any answers until it calms down, and that won't happen until it either tires itself out or thinks it isn't getting eaten anymore.
George isn't willing to move away and risk it escaping, so he digs into the sand with his claws, exposing the tunnel to the open air as he prepares to catch the cornered scavenger. . .except they aren't there.
"Three moons," Sapnap hisses as he comes closer, tail lashing. "Where'd it go?"
George ignores him, listening to the scavenger as it scrambles through the tunnels. Then suddenly it just stops, thoughts still a frantic blur even as it keeps itself completely still.
"It's hiding in the tunnels," George explains, creeping forward. "It. . .it tried to trick us."
Sapnap scoffs, spreading his wings as he prepares to pounce. George smacks his snout with his tail, warning the SkyWing not to be too loud. "Scavengers aren't that smart, George. It's just hiding like a skittish rabbit, running and then freezing."
This had seemed like a bit more than just instinct, though. If George isn't mistaken, the scavenger might've actually been planning this.
I'm probably just thinking about this too much. I doubt it's anything more than any other prey would think.
Sapnap sticks his snout into the hole, snorting and pulling his face back out after a moment, smoke trailing from his nostrils. A few seconds later George hears a weak cough from the scavenger followed by such an intense spike of fear that he nearly stumbles. Sapnap must've heard it too because he stalks forward until he's standing right on top of the scavenger's tunnel.
"You could try using smoke to force it out?" George points out. Sapnap thinks for a moment before shaking his head and starting to dig just a bit to the side of where the scavenger's hiding.
The scavenger quickly notices and tries sprinting down the tunnels but George cuts it off, slamming his talons down and breaking through the roof of the tunnel so that it's forced to retreat. There aren't any thoughts coming from it anymore, just fear.
It messes up pretty quickly and Sapnap is able to catch it, pinning it under his talons before dragging it out into the open even though it yelps and thrashes.
The scavenger is wearing several layers of multicolored fabric but the most noticeable feature is the white thing covering its face. George thinks maybe it's some kind of helmet or mask but he isn't quite sure what its purpose is. Maybe to keep the scavenger's face protected from the sand?
It squirms one last time in Sapnap's grip before suddenly going limp, although George is easily able to tell by its active thoughts that it's just pretending to be calm.
"Caught it!" Sapnap announces, his thoughts glowing with pride but still dim compared to the bright flashes of terror from the scavenger whenever Sapnap moves. "You're right, it looks weird. Maybe it is a different kind of scavenger."
"Maybe." George moves closer, wrinkling his snout in a faint snarl when Sapnap starts sniffing the scavenger. "Hey, you said you wouldn't eat it yet."
Sapnap's tongue flicks out once to taste the scavenger and it shrieks, finally giving up on playing dead as it starts to wriggle around again. "Fine, take it you smoke-breather. It just tastes like sand anyways."
That's not the impression George had gotten from Sapnap's thoughts but he doesn't say anything, just takes the scavenger from Sapnap's talons when he hands it over. It tries to take advantage of this, lashing out and smacking his scales with its tiny clawless fists, but it doesn't manage to get free.
"Would you stop squirming," George grumbles, trying to figure out how to hold it without accidentally crushing it. He needs it to calm down so he can listen to its thoughts but he doubts that's going to happen any time soon. "I'm not going to eat you and Sapnap can wait a few minutes, so calm down."
It babbles random sounds before going completely still when George bumps his snout against its mask, trying to figure out what it's made of. It's a rather plain mask, white with a few dark lines and carvings on it. When George carefully tries to take the mask off with his claws, the scavenger curls up and covers the mask with its hands, trying to protect itself. Its fear is so strong that George thinks he might be trembling a bit just like it is.
"I knew scavengers could make things," Sapnap says, moving closer. The scavenger lets out a fearful little sound at his approach. "But I didn't know they made masks. It even seemed to do a good job making it, too."
"Maybe it stole it?" George starts to lower the scavenger, which allows him to finally feel something new from it: confusion. Confusion stained with fear and George can't help but wonder what it must be imagining. Is it smart enough to do that? To guess what might happen to it? "Maybe it's a pet that got away?"
"Too bad for the owner, I guess. We found it first." Sapnap shifts his weight, watching the scavenger intently. "What are you doing?"
"I'm pretty sure it's thinking." George starts to uncurl his talons; surprisingly enough, the scavenger clings to them, not letting him set it down. He frowns, lifting it up to dangle in front of his face so he can squint at it. "Or maybe not. What is it doing?"
It does not seem to be happy about this but it still doesn't let go of him. George tries to focus on its thoughts and nearly takes a step away from Sapnap when he finally feels what it's feeling. All George can think about for a second is being hunted and predator and claws and teeth and flames and pouncing and pinned and crushed and EATEN-
He shakes his head, barely able to untangle himself from these fears. There were no words and yet for a moment he knew exactly why it's so terrified, scared enough that it's dragging him down along with it.
"George?" Sapnap asks, sounding like he's repeating himself. "What did you hear?"
"It's so scared," George whispers, adjusting his grip on the scavenger so he doesn't have to worry about it slipping free. "It knows that you want to eat it and it's thinking about all the different ways you might kill it."
Sapnap frowns. "I have a bad feeling about what you're going to say next."
"We're taking it with us." George studies the scavenger, trying to make sure it doesn't have any injuries. He flicks his tongue out and can't smell any blood. "At least until I figure this out. If I'm wrong, you can have it."
"You're carrying it," Sapnap hisses, turning away. George tries to focus on his thoughts and finds some complaints but fewer than he'd expected, although he does notice Sapnap shoving a thought away before he can get a glimpse of it. There is a thread of interest coiled underneath it all, too deep for George to actually look at. "And I'm not helping you take care of it."
"I'm just keeping it tonight," George explains, spreading his wings as he tries to figure out the best way to carry the scavenger. It has started thrashing again and he can feel terror over so many little things even though he can't pinpoint exactly what all those things are. "I just want to hear it think when it isn't constantly terrified."
"If it's a wild scavenger, there's no calming those down." Sapnap leaps, taking off. George quickly follows, holding the scavenger closer to his chest when it lets out a yelp. It's immediately obvious that it does not like flying; its thoughts have become very repetitive and George can't help but wonder if it's trying to calm itself. ". . .might be able to if it's a runaway pet, though."
"Right, maybe if we feed it it'll- slow down, Sap," George huffs, struggling to keep up. Sapnap's already a fast flier because of his larger wings and now that George is having to carry the scavenger, it's a bit of a struggle to keep up. "We're not getting out of the desert today no matter how fast we fly, there's no point wearing ourselves out."
Thankfully the scavenger is keeping very still now, and while it definitely hasn't calmed down it certainly seems to understand that a drop from this height would kill it. He tries to listen to it but it seems to be unintentionally blocking him with its repetitive thoughts; it's impossible to look past whatever it keeps repeating to itself over and over again.
"The scavenger's really not that heavy, George." Despite his words, Sapnap still slows down slightly, giving George time to catch up. "You complain so much, that's not very blazing of you."
"Oh shut up," George grumbles. Sapnap starts laughing and George can't help but echo it, choosing to take Sapnap's advice and just focus on the long flight ahead of them.

Love this book series so much so I’m happy to write an au for it! Communication will eventually happen but it’ll take a while.
Sapnap's next! A very stocky dragon, he's built for power. He thinks he's not very strong most of the time, but that because he compares himself to Dream so he is VERY strong lol.
For @duskler-bell and their really nice dsmp dragon au (go see it, #dsmp dragon au. Well, go see their entire profile bc the au with cats and the one with centaurs are great too) !
I saw the prompt about Dteam cuddling, https://www.tumblr.com/duskler-bell/715770889891872768/wanna-draw-more-for-the-dsmp-dragon-au-really?source=share, and it's been sometimes I wanted to draw them so. Here :)
Here me out... Karl as a rainwing and quackity as a scavenger...
-beansthough <3
Aww I love this, it’s perfect
Quackity’s pretty clever and I’d imagine he’d be able to pick up on a bit of Karl’s language pretty quickly. Not as well as Dream, but Dream does have an advantage because George and Sapnap will start deliberately trying to teach Dream their language. Once he knows that Karl won’t hurt him he pretty quickly becomes calm around the dragon because hey, it’s a life of free food and protection in a world where everything bigger wants to eat you. What’s not to love?
At first he is not a fan of Sapnap. He finds the SkyWing intimidating and gets jealous of how he keeps stealing Karl’s attention. Once Sapnap bonds with Dream, though, he starts making an effort to befriend Quackity since he now knows scavengers are a bit smarter than he’d initially thought. Eventually they both become great friends, although they often get into a lot of trouble causing pranks lol
