I decided to compile all my writings and story-related asks into masterposts so they’re easier for people to find! If a story is marked with (AU) after it, that means that the scene isn’t canon and is either based off of an ask or it’s just an alternate re-imagining of a scene. If it’s marked as (STORY) it’s a fully-written scene and not just a collection of scenes or headcanons. If it’s marked as (NOMS) it contains sfw vore and/or mouthplay.

online communities are so strange because people slip away so easily. you can be on here for years, folding people you've never met into the fabric of your daily life, and then they disappear, leaving only ghost posts scattered across tumblr behind. or their blog stays dormant, for weeks, months, years, until you're only still following them because you remember that they love sunflowers or they were kind to you when they didn't have to be or the last thing they posted was sad and raw and you still worry about them sometimes.

and sometimes they come back when you least expect it, years later, even, and there's this sudden rush of relief like there you are, there you are, even though you barely knew each other.

there's a strange kind of love to it. i don't know you and i want to hold your hand across miles and time zones and oceans. i can still see the imprint of you in this community you left. you don't think anyone will notice or care when you're gone, but we notice and we care and we wish you well.

i hope you're all okay out there. i hope the sun is shining on your face and you are breathing deeply. i miss you.

my all-time favorite impractical g/t trope is "random person grown to giant size in unethical lab experiment." like wtf is the purpose of it? now you gotta feed and clothe and take care of someone 20x the size of a normal person. you can barely restrain them, and they're gonna be pissed as hell that you grew them without consent. you went through alllll that effort to create an angry, scared, and depressed giant, who is probably gonna end up escaping at the hands of an employee due to genre convictions. awesome. 10/10. no notes. if i was the government and someone pitched this to me i would invest five billion taxpayer dollars on the spot i am dead serious. i love lab rat giants

Havent seen this before but what about giants trapped in magical items? Like they've got some kinda curse that basically is a puzzle you have to solve to get out of it alive before the object devours you or something and you give it so much attitude about it you actually stun it for a second. You manage to escape but now it's interested in this snarky lil guy and keeps appearing near you, you just kinda accept you have to do the puzzle at random, getting quicker until he switches it up. This time you're 100% sure you lost but he let you out anyways, perplexed you just kinda dont mention it since that was scary as hell. But this pattern continues until one of the days the puzzle is different. It looks like some kind of lock, you get to work fiddling with it and when you finally unlock it this time feels different. Instead of being back on the ground you're in his hand, you've released him...

Chapter 9: Verso

The long awaited moment is finally here ! Gustave and Verso finally meet in person. What will happen now ? How are they going to react ? This chapter is the biggest to date, I hope you'll like it !

Aaaaaand you have it ! After more than 100 pages (god) they're finally able to talk to each other ! Sorry for the slow burn up until this point, I hope it was worth it !

The story will obviously continue, but I'm gonna take a break : first because this chapter drained me I'm not gonna lie xD (need to do something else a bit, like sleep) and also because I need a little bit of time to properly write the following chapters ! I have ideas, but I must organize them into a cool story that holds together. I hope you will like it.

Chapter 8: Close Call

Thank you for your patience ! Gustave intends to give the wedding ring back to the Dessendre but mid way, he makes a crucial decision.

And finally you have it !!! After 90 pages, Gustave and Verso meet again ! That was one hell of a slow burn hihihi (sorry)

"Punishment works!!!" We're drowning in three to four generations of people so pants-shittingly terrified of ever being wrong that half of everyone has constructed a worldview wherein they never even consider the possibility that they could be wrong and the other half behaves like one wrong move will make anything or anyone explode violently into a million irreperable pieces. I don't think it works guys

I know this might be a bold take but maybe teaching everyone from a young age that ever making a mistake will be met with unimaginable pain and misery doesn't actually encourage learning or correct behavior. If anything it creates a sense of terror so powerful it completely suffocates curiosity and exploration, thus leading to people knowing absolutely nothing but whatever is brought directly to them, which is a big problem in a world where information is so tightly controlled that a very small number of very powerful people basically have complete power over what people see and hear on a day-to-day basis when not actively seeking new and rigorously verified information from diverse and trustworthy sources.

This post goes out to the "we need to bring back bullying" crowd. Just because you aren't hitting someone physically doesn't mean you aren't being punitive. Maybe it isn't actually healthy to believe it's necessary to harass and humiliate anyone who makes you upset or uncomfortable. That sounds like a you problem actually.

Anyways, breaking the cycle of abuse starts with you and how you treat yourself. You have to give yourself grace and room for error or you'll never be able to cultivate a healthier mindset than your trauma left you with. It's not easy, but you have to trust yourself that whatever seems kinder than however you usually treat yourself is probably a good enough start. Doesn't need to be perfect, doesn't need to be The Correct Answer, just needs to be a step in the right direction, y'know? We'll figure out the details along the way.

Jax raised a hand in what was supposed to be a calming gesture, only to immediately regret it as Monroe flinched and stumbled away from him.

His heart broke at the look on Monroe’s face. Fear. Uncertainty. Things he had seen there before, but never directed at him like that.

He wanted to disappear. To sink into the wall that pressed painfully into his back. Anything to escape that look.

His skin prickled with heat. Monroe could feel it, looking up in alarm, then concern when no shift happened this time. Did it hurt when that happened?

Monroe stumbled forward slightly as Jax lowered his shaking hand and tried to crunch himself uncomfortably into the corner of the room.

"No- I'm okay- It's okay! It was just a surprise." Monroe set his hand on Jax's arm, feeling that heat prickling up through his own skin.

"It's not okay..." Jax said, trying to keep his voice down, but it still seemed to rumble and echo in the small space. "I didn't... I don't want to ever..."

The penny dropped. "... You won't hurt me, Jax." Monroe offered quietly.

"You don't know that-"

"I do, actually."

Jax raised his eyes to him, searching Monroe’s face and finding no doubt or fear there this time.

After a long moment, Jax slumped with a sigh, and that prickling heat faded. Monroe moved closer, slipping his hand into Jax's and quietly marvelling at how carefully the other man's larger fingers held onto him.

"We'll figure it all out."

Thing I've been thinking about recently, for no reason, definitely not personal reasons.

g/t borrower situation where both the borrower and human host are nearsighted, contrived reason for not yet having something to help that, and are both more frightened because they can't clearly see eachother.

From the ground, the borrower can hardly make out the human's expressions, making their intentions unknowable and all the more frightening. For the human, they keep catching this little mystery blur across the room that speaks to them in some encounters, but they can hardly even make out the shape, which repeatedly startles them.

Only when a trusting connection is finally developed, do they get a close enough look at eachother to realize "Oh, you've been looking at me with kindness and concern."/"Oh, you're just like me."/"We HAVE to get some glasses in this household."
