And what's more every time I see criticisms of Veilguard sanitizing and removing conflict I think about the decade I've spent watching fans demand exactly that kind of sanitizing of characters and conflicts and call it bad writing when characters are mean and petty and irrational and have bad opinions, and call it bad writing when conflicts can't be easily resolved.

I hosted a little cooking contest on my channel where everyone had to make something from the Dragon Age Cookbook. Honestly, I wasn’t expecting the dishes to turn out that good but they totally did. So yeah, I ended up giving prizes to everyone 😂 Anyway, I’m sharing it here because more people need to see this awesomeness.

Some people even sent in videos of them cooking with actual editing and everything! I seriously didn’t expect anyone to go that hard for a tiny little contest 😭 There were actually other videos, but Tumblr only allowed me to post one.

This whole contest honestly inspired me so much to make more Dragon Age stuff! it kinda made me believe in a little bit of magic again. I’m really glad I ended up giving everyone a prize, because every single entry totally deserved it 💖

For prizes, I had Dragon Age: Veilguard daggers and the official Dragon Age cookbooks. The winners got to pick either a book or a dagger, and everyone else still got a dagger of their choice plus some other cute fandom stuff💚

So in my first play through of Dragon Age: Origins, I accidentally left Sten in the cage in Lothering and never really got to know him as a character. Well, now I'm finally replaying it, and I must say that Sten has stolen my heart, and I was absolutely devastated to find out that I couldn't romance him.
