Parking is $10/day. When you return to the garage, parking is $10/hour. But you’d pay anything to forget the screech of metal and crunch of bone.
Registration has greatly decreased wait times. When you ask them how, they won’t answer. Or maybe they can’t answer.
The Daily Dragon is available every morning. You’re pretty sure there’s never been an obituaries section before.
The Westin is a host hotel. You know people that stay there. You know there is programming there. And yet, you can never actually find it.
Welcome, Dragon Con! Say the signs on the streetlights. Welcome, Dragon Con! Say the windows of the shops in Peachtree Center. Welcome, Dragon Con! Say the hosts and hostesses at the restaurants downtown. They love Dragon Con! The people are so interesting! The crowds bring money! But there’s an odd blankness in their eyes, and a robotic nature to their movements.
Beware of the last stall in the second-to-last row in Artist’s Alley. It says $15/sketch, but the artist hungers for more than crumpled bills.
Tuesday morning, everything goes back to normal. Doesn’t it?
