So has anyone thought about the fact that the complete unfamiliarity and alien nature of America to the gang is a metaphor for adulthood (as well as the prospect of their life after surviving the Big Bad traumatic event) or nah

people who never say anything on their blogs or leave comments in tags terrify me
will everyone shut the everliving fuck up about 9/11?? stop sending my little sister home with the same goddamn questionnaire for our parents we do every year. stop!! it’s been almost twenty years now. stop making adults relive the trauma and stop shoving gen z people’s noses into it. it was horrific yes, we get it! a lot of people died, yep!! we’ve seen the footage our entire lives, practically every year in public school - that’s 12 now! (i’m 18!) what is the POINT. what is the fucking point of keeping this incident alive. oh yeah. the fucking war on terror. our pointless and ineffective TSA airport security. nah, let’s focus on the event of the last generation instead of the massacres that happen every damn day in this country, that affect students and minorities more often than not. if we spent as much time and money on gun regulation and ensuring fucking automatic rifles don’t end up in citizen’s hands as we do damn bag checks, we’d probably be in a very different place. but let’s keep talking about those towers.
kinda telling that i never see aesthetic boards of percy jackson that depict him as a poc :/ kinda :// telling :///////////

top/bottom discussions can be fun (when kept lighthearted and when not applied where inappropriate) but i feel like it’s also a bit much. i feel like young queer people who probably haven’t tested themselves out sexually yet, see it and go to themselves ‘oh i HAVE to fit into one of these’ because theres this Joke element to it that it depends on certain personality types, or that completely arbitrary traits or behaviors imply you’re one over the other. when in reality it’s just about how like to pleasure/be pleasured and half of the fun of sexually exploring yourself is.. well, exploring. so we have these young impressionable people who might not try out different positions or things because they’ve got it in their head that they can’t? for a lot of us, i know we have confidence issues, and that extends to in the bed. it’s something that’s really hard to overcome but also something that you hopefully can with a trusting and patient and communicative partner. but the only way you’re gonna be able to start that process of gaining confidence is if you’re willing to try out different things.
i.. i dunno, i just want to make sure we’re all aware of what we’re saying and what weight it actually has, and that we’re not sending the wrong messages to the wrong people. our sex lives (or lack of it) are beautiful but shunned by a lot of society, so we need to be there for each other especially in that regard. (not trying to ruin anyone’s fun, so please don’t take it that way.)
