"No no no no no no!! Kai!" Jay could be heard screaming from the other room. Cole and Zane looked at one another in wonder, but they didn't have to wonder long. Jay walked in, covered in what seemed to be ink or oil, carrying the accused at arm's length. The small dragon was even dirtier than Jay. Yet, he almost looked proud about being so dirty.
"Remind me why we decided to adopt them." Jay glared as Zane went to get a towel.
"What happened?" Cole asked as Zane came back with two towels. Wrapping one of them around Jay's shoulders, and using the other one to grab the filthy dragon with.
"What happened; is that little devil," Jay shot a glare at Kai, who Zane was carrying to the sink to rinse off. "Decided to be funny and mess with my invention, causing it to explode!"
"I don't think he did it on purpose Jay," Zane said, struggling to rinse off the muck. The dragon hated water and especially baths, and was making a mess. Dirtying Zane's white shirt.
"Yes, he did! Didn't you hear him laugh! He's a little demon, he loves making my life hell!"
"Don't be overdramatic. Yes, they get excitable, but I don't think any of them, especially Kai, is malicious." Zane offered, toweling the dragon dry. He was clean enough that he wouldn't track the mess throughout the monastery.
Jay scoffed, "Of course you come to his defense. He's never terrible to you!" And he left in a huff, leaving a small trail of oil behind him.
Cole sighed as he took the dragon from Zane. Scratching behind Kai's floppy ears, causing the thing to rumble in satisfaction, "You are causing a lot of drama, little man. You better apologize." Kai dropped his ears, giving a small whine and puppy eyes to the earth ninja. "I'm not taking no as an answer." Kai squirmed again, looking annoyed.
"Yes, Kai, you know you are not allowed in his room. You need to apologize." Zane joined in, patting his head. The dragon gave them both a stare, seemingly annoyed. But he gave a huff as he was set down on the floor, reluctantly going to find Jay.
I've just end this cute jRPG LiEat and I love this dragon trio! Pitiful that game was so short.

"Cole, they're not cats."
"I know, but they act kinda like them. Besides it's not like they have a dragon section at the pet store." Cole rebutted as he stuffed a little puff with catnip. "Trust me, Zane, they'll love this. Oh, Lloyd!" Cole called, moving into the living room, where Lloyd was sprawled out on his favorite pillow.
The little green dragon raised his head at his name, tongue peeking out to taste the air. He shifted to face more of Cole, but he never left that pillow.
"Here, I've got a new toy for ya." Cole offered the small puff to him, waving it around a little to get his interest before he set it down on the couch. He watched as Lloyd sniffed at the puff he saw Lloyd's pupils expand, and he lunged for the toy. Grabbing it with his mouth, he began to shake it, throwing it into the air and chasing it where it landed.
"Woah!" Cole gasped as he watched the lazy dragon light up as he began to jumps around the toy, rubbing his face into the toy, yapping as he batting the little thing around.
"Well," Cole chuckled, "we figured out how to get him to exercise now." Watching the little dragon roll and spin at he chewed at the toy. Trying to get it to fit in his mouth, trying to eat it now.
"No Lloyd! Toys aren't for eating!" And Cole tried to take the puff from him, but Lloyd seemed to take that this was a game. Playing tug of war with the big ninja, and when Cole finally let go Lloyd raced out of the room. Making Cole chase him as he tried to get the puff back.
Zane couldn't help but laugh as the two raced around the monastery. "I can't help but agree. Seems like a good exercise for the both of you."
