Having a betta for now 1 and half a year, YES I do support tanks of course !! People always say "betta fish ? They're boring as hell". Well excuse me sir but if you put him on a cup, of course he won't swim much. BUT put it on a nice tank with plants, heat, etc, and believe me : those guys are really funny !! Love mine to bits <3 One question : as he gets older, his fins seem to be really heavy. He rests on my filter but maybe you have any tips on how I could create a "nest" for him to rest ?
I agree-- Magellan is SO HAPPY in my 29g with all of my other fish. He's so active and his color (which was alright bright) has just increased in vibrancy! I always show pics of him to potential betta customers to show what a happy betta looks like.
As to your question:
Nice, broad leafed plants (like anubias) that you can place higher to the surface really help.
Some stores will sell betta hammocks or even anubias that you can suction cup to the tank walls so that you create a nice bed for your betta to rest on. u w u
