To BD: you explained before that only in your human form is it possible for you to deal with gaining weight, and then it affects you dragon form. How much does change to your human form affect you when you change back?
That isn’t exactly what I said… I said that if a dragon shapeshifted to a human that if they ate enough to satisfy their dragon appetite-which is huge compared to a human’s because of their physical size-that the human form would get fat if they aren’t careful.
I can explain better with a visual.
First, with Pendara as an example, when she (I) transformed she was already overweight as a human. So that translated to the dragon form because this was her first time ever in her life transforming into dragon form (for reasons I can’t share).
If she had been thin, her dragon form would be too because it reflects her human shape for the reason I said above. Same as if she were muscular and stuff.
But a dragon born in dragon form uses a spell to shapeshift. The spell makes their human form reflect their dragon form in appearance and build…but if that dragon were to eat more than their smaller human body could hold, when they transform back only some of that weight translates to the dragon form.
Why? Because the dragon body is much bigger than the human one. So unless the human form got really fat and not just developed a round belly. It wouldn’t be very noticeable on the dragon form and easily burn off.
TL;DR: Pendara is unique. She isn’t like the other dragons, so her human form is what her dragon form reflects. With other dragons, it’s the opposite and if they gain weight as humans, it isn’t as noticeable on the dragon because the dragon is much much bigger.
