Shih tzu? The girl I used to live with had two and I remember them being little brats.
They are indeed little brats.
Shih tzus are awful to groom not only because they want to bite you at every turn, but they need to be groomed or they’ll be matted, and the people that normally get them don’t brush them at all. So you’ve got this shitty little matted ball of anger trying to bite you and it comes to you every few months to do the cycle all over again.
They hate daycare too. They never play and just bark at dogs playing or try and kill anyone that gets close to them. They don’t even want the attention of the human in the room, they want to be home on their person’s lap to bite anyone that comes near.
Normally they’re owned by older people, but I don’t know why. Their upkeep is ridiculous, they need grooming every few months, daily brushing, and have eye and breathing problems. And of course since they’re owned by the elderly they get no training, so they just want to sit on their chosen person’s lap all day and try to kill anyone that gets close.
They’re usually fed crap too, like cesars wet food or cooked chicken with nothing else to balance their nutrition.
