Un Question! What would be a Perfect Day for Marius? For Adal? What would they get up to, what would happen, what would the weather be like, etc

Given how much of his life is spent in Go Mode, we’re looking at a classic Lazy Day for Marius. Make it a gray, drizzly day where there’s no guilt in laying around in bed with Dixie until noon, then getting up to putter around the kitchen and bring him late breakfast in bed. Their afternoon is spent doing nothing much important--reading, watching a movie together; but either way trying to fit two bodies in one seat and laughing together at the film, or reading bits of their books at each other. Dixie makes dinner, one of the couple meals he’s perfected, and Marius drapes himself over the nearest piece of furniture to watch him work, tell him how good it smells and occasionally complement his butt. After dinner, the two of them end up with hot drinks by the fire, under the same blanket, talking about everything and nothing and making out in between a lil’ until it’s unreasonably late, and heading back to bed.

In short, the kind of day where he happily achieves absolutely nothing except relaxing and making his boyfriend feel loved.

For Adal...She would be the one to get restless with a completely lazy day. I can imagine her getting a bit of a sleep-in only to find breakfast made and the grandkids outside and appropriately distracted, letting her wake up in peace while she and Ulysses get to have a little catch-up time away from the chaos of having a toddler and kindergartner underfoot. Her ideal day still involves them though; getting to sit with them and have Paz show her her New Favorite Thing and play pretend, while Pike calls his toy animals by the deliberately wrong names and grins like a fiend at bamboozling everyone.

She’d get out for a walk to town, eventually, either alone or with the family. Uses it mostly to check in with people, talk with some of the folks she’s friendly with, make sure everyone’s doing alright and the town doesn’t need her at the moment (On a perfect day? It doesn’t). Heading home, she finds the boys have turned up, and they end up having a low-key family evening where everyone’s relaxed and chatty, and sit around taking turns to tell stories. She’d eventually turn in once everyone’s settled or headed out for the night, warm in the relationships she’s built and the communities she’s made herself a part of.

3, 5, 7 for the Deadfire ask meme!

Already answered 7 earlier, but here’s 3 & 5 for Ari!:

3. How about a favourite companion? Or a favourite NPC?

Of the new companions she met in Deadfire, Rekke and Tekehu were her favourites. She was fascinated by Rekke’s homeland, despite how tight-lipped he was about his origins, and she definitely asked him to teach her some Seki. Tekehu almost reminded her of herself when she was younger: someone who was starting to realise that who they are doesn’t have to be determined by the expectations and desires of those around them, and she both wanted to help him find his calling, and just genuinely enjoyed his company (much to her boyfriend’s distaste)

NPC-wise, obviously Vela was her favourite, but in the case of new people, she unexpectedly rather enjoyed her exchanges with Aeldys- who appeared to Ariela to be the only person in the Deadfire who was actually willing to do anything about the slavers- and she absolutely loved getting to meet Ymir, who prompted a very enjoyable afternoon of teasing Aloth about his other potential career opportunities.

5. Was your Watcher glad to have Eder, Aloth and Pallegina back again (if indeed they did)? Was there any other companion that they would have liked to have back in their party?

She sure was!! She was over the moon to have Aloth back, even if she was a little hurt that he hadn’t been in contact with her over the years they’d been apart, and immediately began falling in love with him all over again.... And it was nice to see the others again, too.

Eder and Aloth were the two party members she’d been closest to back in the Dyrwood, so she was fairly happy with who rejoined her. If she’d got to choose another of her old friends to come back, it probably would have been Kana, and she enjoyed the very brief conversation she got to have with him.

He’s always had a good head on his shoulders and considering Qu Lin is almost a decade younger than him he’s always kind of been that ‘protective big bro’ to her.As for people she DOESN’T take advice from…That’s almost everyone else out there. But mostly her second brother, who’s only about two years older than her. They’re both very competitive people and are constantly fighting with each other about anything. The longest running fight they’ve had was about who was the better ‘middle-child’.If money wasn’t a limit, what would they wear?Qu Lin haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaates the rich, there’s no way she would wear anything different if given an endless supply of money.
