Sudden thought - retired Dream as human has problems with his vision and requires glasses. He feels humiliated at requiring aids to see clearly. Meanwhile Hob struggles to control himself as he finds them insanely sexy.

Omgggg yes 😭😭 glasses wearing Dream would be so sexy but he would have absolutely no idea

And Hob is truly having the worst time ever because he is so irrationally attracted to him (more than ever) but he's trying to just be a Good Friend and let him adjust to being a retired human person. Surely Hob’s affections and lustful thoughts are the last thing that Morpheus needs right now!!!

But Morpheus interprets Hob’s attempts to Not Be Horny around him as a form of rejection and one day he's like "you think im ugly don't you :(" and Hob nearly dies on the spot. He is so unprepared for this conversation but he has to quickly reassure Morpheus that it is, in fact, the opposite issue.

Which significantly cheers Morpheus up. Especially when Hob digs out his own pair of reading glasses and shows off his best "sexy professor" look. Morpheus suddenly decides that glasses may not be the enemy, after all.

And they kiss and their glasses clash together HEHEHE <3

Registry office, obviously.

Perfect. No posh suits—no weeping family members—

No one in attendance at all.

Right. No flowers, photographer, gifts—

No appalling music—

No best man’s speech!

I mentioned this in the last one I answered, but writing Loki has proven to be an enigma to me, but since it's the next one shot I told people I'd work on, I need to figure it out. I'm thinking of making myself write 15 minutes a day for May just like I did last summer to get all these last prompt fics out (and get more work done on my big boy fic)

When Stephen fell asleep that night, he dreamed.

Not all dreams were visions of other realities. While the multiverse was wild and strange in its anomalies, the existence of REM sleep was very real, and the brain's use of it to process events and trauma was a sound theory that he had, admittedly, experienced himself with his many nightmares.

Besides, there were enough dreams in existence that didn't follow the multiversal law of appearing in another you to disprove that all dreams were multiversal. Stephen had not yet had much chance to study this largely unexplored branch of mysticism, but even he was starting to see the differences between normal dreams and multiversal dreams. The multiversal ones were rarer, at least in his experience—and if they were uncommon for him, he suspected that they were little seen by the general populace as they lacked the knowledge to even brush against the edge of reality to the border of the multiverse.

Tonight, tonight he realized he was dreaming and seeing through the eyes of another version of himself, another him in another reality. He couldn't control his other's actions of course—this was not dream-walking with the Darkhold—but it was a curious sensation, now that he knew how to identify it.

This dream was unlike anything Stephen had ever seen before.

🔬- Was there one scene you were building up to/knew you had to get just right? (for whichever fic you choose) :)

AHHHHH YES!!!

I’m going with Omertà for this one. There were SEVERAL scenes I was building up to that I knew I needed to get just right. But the one that first came to mind was a scene in chapter 7. I had already planned out the confrontation between Peter and Fisk, where Fisk got the jump on him, but the scene *right* after, where Wesley is making Peter call May was something I worked on forever. I knew for a long time that was where I wanted it to go, and it was very dark for me to write. Peter was very hurt physically, and he was terrified of what Wesley might do to his aunt. Then as it continues, it devolves into panic over himself because when he calls her and she doesn’t pick up, he realizes that this could be the end for him, and he leaves her messages that I know would terrify me, if my kid left them on my voicemail. 

It was tricky because I felt like I was walking this line between delirious and aware, so it was hard to get the feeling right before I was satisfied.

🕹 Video game you are currently playing

None, I haven’t played any video games in years. Don’t get me wrong, I love them, but that’s the problem lol I don’t have self-control and I decided it would be best if I just kept my distance. (Also how I feel about anime and manga, those took over my teenhood.)

📖 Fave book

No particular favourites, but I do love anything written by Mhairi McFarlane. I think she’s the only author who writes romance books without the annoying “ditzy/desperate but somehow ~loveable~ girl who’s the only one on earth capable of changing the asshole lead” (I’m looking at you Sophie Kinsella). Mhairi writes fun tropes, like enemies to lovers and fake dating, but she does them well and her characters have depth.

I will binge in carrot cake, or cheesecake, or chocolate cake...or any cake really. (Jaffa cakes also I guess? But those are biscuits, fight me.)

Desperate Tony

Endgame Spoilers Ahead, skip this if you haven’t seen the movie yet!

There was one thing I really liked about Endgame, which is that it gave us a very nice whump scene.

Colour Pencil, A4 pale brown cardboard, 3 hours The lack of even moderate quality source material makes it kind of hard to draw Endgame stuff.

What, if it's possible to narrow it, would you say is your favorite Sherlolly moment in the series?

An obvious answer would be the I love you, but honestly, my favorite moment is their conversation in the stairwell in TEH. That scene had ALL THE FEELS. It makes your heart melt at the sincerity and softness of that moment, and then it rips your damn heart out when the engagement ring is shown. But then, THAT KISS! You can tell he was gonna go for the lips, but changed his mind at the last second. You can tell he's happy for her even though his heart is breaking, cause he thinks she's better off with someone who isn't him.

He believes she deserves better than him, but what he doesn't realize is that she just wants the best version of him. Molly doesn't want him to change. She loves him for who he is, and she wishes he'd treat himself better.

This one hit me the other day and won't leave me alone. I don't write a lot of AU... maybe just once? Anyway, The idea that jumped on me was set during the Salem Witch Trials (is the a UK equivalent?) Where Molly is a brilliant scientist with a morbid business involving the dead falsely accused of witchcraft and scheduled for execution. Sherlock is an odd recluse (old world detective) who rescues her. The twist? HE is the witch.

I love that! There were absolutely witch trials in the UK, should be easy enough for you to research! I look forward to reading it if you do decide to write it!
