TLOS: Krome style Guardians study

Thank you to the r/TheLegendOfSpyro discord for being supportive of this study, without them I wouldn't have had the courage to post this! This is a style study for TLOS, specifically the Krome concept art style. I had the urge to look back at TLOS art a while ago, and came across Jared Pullen's deviantart again, and I came across Terrador's ref sheet. For a few days after I kept thinking about how I wanted to see the other guardians in this style, and then it turned into how much I wanted to try and take a stab at it myself, after all, Jared has gone back to his life and there's a possibility that it might never happen.  After a while, I caved and decided to try the copy the style as much as I could, and then further decided to try and study how the coloring and shading worked, and I can safely say I learned a few things doing this! I do want to address the elephant in the room though, yes I did some heavy referencing for this to make it look as accurate as possible. I wanted to make this feel like it could be official, and fit alongside the other concept arts.  Anyways, onto the dragons themselves, I tried my best to drawn them based on their official concept art as opposed to their model textures. I did however use the textures in places that were a bit of a mystery, like on parts of the chest plates that aren't shown. I also used models to make sure I got angles of parts such as faces correctly (Cyril's beard in particular). And in cases like the other wing tears, I winged it because there was no other references to use. I also tried to keep the shading colors as close to the concept art as possible, with the exception of Volteer, which looked a bit foggy and kinda washed out when I tried his. So he has a more vibrant shading than his official art. But yeah, I learned a lot doing this! it also helped me learn how to draw front facing faces, larger chest area's, etc etc. And honestly, i'm glad I did it, because overall it was just fun to do these three. I'm planning on doing the others eventually, i'm actually drawing DOTD Malefor now! So look forward to them!

Backlog Dragons!

Just a backlog of dragons that I need to post online! First is Voltanth, 2nd is Dalila, 3rd is Vivian! After I drew these guys I decided to stop trying to force them into their own universe and go back to TLOS, which honestly just feels better. I'm thinking about drawing Voltanth in the krome style so look forward to that!... maybe

Shadow (Main Suit Outfit)

This is mostly to see a certain outfit on a character that will show up more then once in the comics or art they are in
