Runescape DragonWilds first impression (3 ish hours in)
Pros:
-Functional : Did not encounter crashes, freezes or framedrops
-Convenience: Some QoL features that are nice over other games in that vein (Such as Valheim, which seems to be their main inspiration)
-You can set a big stack of something to cook/craft and walk away
-The combat is decent unless you get outnumbered.
-Zanik is there
Cons:
-The runescape connection seems tenuous and superficial.
-You need to drink water fucking CONSTANTLY
-The character customization is very barebones, nowhere near the depths of creative designs you can have in the other runescape games.
-2 of the 9 skills aren't implemented, and 9 skills in total seems small.
The last two cons are things that could ostensibly be fixed before early access ends. It seemed like a lot of fanfare for an early access game that is just okay.
6.5/10 (keeping in mind this is just a first impressions)
