Arthur basically IS a golden retriever. And Merlin is a cute little shaky chihuahua that everyone thinks is harmless until they piss him off and he bites off their fingers.

It's not just Arthur's hair, it's like his skin glows gold, I mean what the hell's up with that? But then Merlin'll lick them better afterwards and he'll feel bad so he'll follow you around like the little chihuahua doggy he is and he's a man's best friend [Arthurs], and ever so loyal. <3

I like the idea of Merlin having a small dog that he carries around in his messenger bag and Arthur scoffs at it at first because it’s only tiny and then Merlin makes him take care of it for a day & suddenly Arthur treats the dog like a mini Merlin ♥
