[ BLOCK ] for the taller muse to stand in front of the shorter one to prevent them from having to see something. (For Haldir, from Urnarseldo!) (hi :>) -✧- @dragxnsfire
Haldir crossed his arms as he stood before the young elf, blocking the view behind him. He looked slightly down at Urnarseldo, who due to his youth, was one of the few elves of the Third Age of Middle-earth shorter than him.
The part-Silvan elf was the oldest of three, and so felt he had better experience with younger elves than many of his peers. Even so, sometimes this led to him feeling more protective over them, unsure of all that they could handle. His brothers were not so young now, and elflings were a rare sight to see in these dark days.
"I know that you wished to see more of the world and potentially the dangers beyond Imladris' protection. Are you sure that you feel ready to see it all?" Haldir questioned. He had gone out with some of the scouts of Imladris into the forests near, taking Urnarseldo along with them. Haldir had taken it upon himself to stay close to him, for he wished for nothing bad to happen on his short visit.
The view that he blocked was that of a rabbit torn apart by some predator of the woods. It looked like the work of a large owl. Goblins of the Hithaeglir did not dare come so near the Last Homely House, but wildlife was yet allowed all of its wonder and violence.
