❤️ Love it! Working together 🌍🌟 #Repost @atonoftrash (@get_repost) ・・・ A local watched me take this #selflessselfie and then proceeded to ask me how my morning was. Standing about 100 yards away, I shouted back, "much better now that this is away from the sea!" I wasn't sure if this sparked his interest or if he was simply heading out for his morning stroll, but next thing I knew, this man was making his way towards the shoreline, exactly where I was standing. He noticed my full bag and generously offered to grab me another. Sure it's only 100 yards, but as soon as I smiled he turned and walked back to where he came from. When he returned, he handed me two plastic bags with a smile glued to his face. Maybe picking up the trash was odd to him, maybe it wasn't his "thing," but without this mans gesture, without this collective effort, 9.9 pounds would have been left on the shoreline, possibly washing away with the tides. My point? Lend a hand when you can. No one asked me to pick up trash, and I'm not out here recruiting others, but it surely means something special to me when an outsider voluntarily chooses to be a part of this change. No matter how big or small the act is, it all matters and it all makes a difference. Without you, this change doesn't happen.
