My newest undead gal, Cascara.
Hopefully her afterlife allows her to make some better choices than she did in her actual life, but, really, being able to live without consequences might just have the opposite effect...

My newest undead gal, Cascara.

anyways here's my guardsbians
First is Lucienne, a librarian whose charge is language in general. As long as she's helping spread literature, she's protecting it. Which means she has free time to get to know her (rather cute) new friend Ptolema better...
Next off is Ptolema, who's on the Search for her charge and... hasn't exactly figured out that Lucienne, who she's got a massive crush on and hates imagining being without, is just what she's been looking for.
Third is Chthonia. She doesn't know she's a lesbian yet and is kind of in a state of perpetual confusion and anxiety. Also she has no tail. It's fine.
Then it's Charmeine, whose charge is her wife Lyska. She used to be a singer, and would love to get back to that life, but has had to go on the run with Lyska after some threats arise.
Last is Lyska, whose charge is a (nondescript) artifact which curses its claimed wielder over time. But as long as her wife, Charmeine, has it more often than her, the curse shouldn't disfigure her further. Unfortunately, they've got some dragons on their tail looking to obtain the artifact and forcibly make it unclaim her through the only lethal method which works, making them go on the run...
Hela: Since I know first-hand the kind of trauma cults cause and the ways they can harm a clan, I'm going to personally ensure that my clan will never harbor any.
Hecate and Klesyn: *create an extremely secretive coven with no discernable motives that continually brings more shady dragons into the clan, but doesn't seem to pose a threat yet*
Elysium: *starts gathering and sheltering undead dragons under promises of sanctuary and spiritual redemption, but while also staying fairly open with Hela about their intentions and actions and not helping anyone too dangerous yet*
Hela:
A human/gijinka version of my Tundra gal Rozomund, as I've shown before here!
You've come too close to the Coven.
guardsbians: nb edition
On the left is Ira, currently living in hir own personal swamp and working as a mercenary. As a hatchling an encounter with a soothsayer- one typically meant to leave Guardian hatchlings alone, so they may naturally progress to their Search- left Ira knowing that only one thing was certain; hir Charge was dead. Ze would never encounter hir life's purpose, hir reason for training with hir sisters all those years. After several angry outbursts towards them, and sister after sister leaving to serve higher powers, ze eventually decided to become a mercenary, assassin, hell, whatever someone needed; it wasn't like any of it would even matter.
On the right is Myristica, or Myr. As a Day Venomspitter they never saw themself as one for combat, but as a Guardian they knew it might be necessary. Luckily, they eventually discovered their charge to be a real beacon in the Scarred Wasteland; a candy shop, owned by a Pearlcatcher named Jarah and his Coatl mate, Valeria. The two became Myr's "charges" by extension, but, more importantly, became Myr's friends. Unlike the couple, they actually live in the shop and have discouraged enough thieves to justify it. Becoming friends with Jarah also revealed his second business and passion as a crafter of poison, cementing in Myr's mind that, odd as their charge being a candy shop was, fate always knew best.
Another human version/gijinka!! This time of my newest Guardian, Chthonia... next time I draw her she'll smile. or be a dragon. one of the two

Like all Coven members, Glaistig has a big, powerful familiar; a Pronghorn, to be exact. He's a big, quiet, gentle friend, and usually keeps to himself whenever Glaistig is busy. But, when she's got time for him, he likes following her around, being pet, and playing. She's kind of curbed his head-butting habit, just for her own safety, but he does rub his head up against stuff, even when he isn't shedding his antlers.
