I’m indecisive.
What cosplay(s) should I get together for my October con and what should I leave until Anime Boston in late March? Because I have a Virus cosplay that absolutely, one hundred percent has to be done by March because it’s a joint cosplay with god-fucking-dammit-trip who is going to be my tiny Trip because she’s short af. But then I want to do a Levi Ackerman cosplay because he’s my grumpy little shit baby but that requires a hell of a lot of effort because I need to clothes, which is like $133 right off the bat, and then I also need the boots and the wig and the makeup. But also I’m putting together a Tucker Foley cosplay that doesn’t require a wig and is all street clothes and I only have to make one thing for. But also Cecil Baldwin which isn’t that hard especially because he doesn’t have a canon appearance. I want to do Koujaku and APH Austria but they’re kind of on the side for now. Then there’s my Alois Trancy cosplay that I want to do really badly but have not planned all that well yet. Plus Haru from free who isn’t like super important but he’s also not that expensive because I don’t need a wig or anything. Agh.
TL;DR
I have to cons coming up (one in mid-October and then one in late March) and I don’t know what cosplays to get together for them. Options are:
Haruka Nanase (Free!) - not super expensive/complicated but not weather appropriate or priority either
Virus (DMMD) - has to be done by March for group cosplay but is joint cosplay + partner won’t be at October con
Levi Ackerman (SnK) - super excited to do this one but kind of complicated/expensive/very involved
Alois Trancy (Black Butler) - excited for this but not well planned yet
Tucker Foley (Danny Phantom) - kind of excited + fairly easy since all street clothes and only have to make one thi
Cecil Baldwin (Welcome to Night Vale) - fairly easy, no wig, no canon appearance, not sure of priority level
Koujaku (DMMD) + Roderich Edelstein/Austria (Hetalia) - Decently excited but on the backburner for now because priorities/cost
Anyone with opinions on this and/or advice would be very appreciated so, followers/people in the fandoms/tags, what are your thoughts?
