War-hero Harry Potter travels with his fiancé Edward to Italy on their premarital honeymoon.

Harry, abandoned by his fiancé because of "work meetings", wanders through the streets of Verona, stumbling across a courtyard where thousands of people have left "letters to Juliet", requesting advice on their affairs of the heart.

Harry discovers an unanswered letter written to "Juliet" 50 years ago, from Druella Rosier, about a young Italian she fell in love with. Harry writes back to Druella, suggesting she return to Verona to find her lost love.

When the old woman arrives in the city with her grandson, Draco Malfoy, Harry is surprised that the woman listened to him, but horrified by the person she chose to bring along on her quest for love.

Together, Harry and Draco embark on the journey to reunite Druella with her old lover — and perhaps, along the way, discover sparks of their own.

The Abraxas horses came into view and the Beauxbatons delegation soon came out of the carriage. All clad in those flimsy and elegant blue robes that, for some reason, had Harry imagining Draco on. He was sure the blonde would look stunning in them, he was just as pretty as Fleur and Draco had long legs - Harry was pretty sure that pants cut would look amazing on him… Wait, what?

He almost missed the Drumstrang entrance, shocked by his own musings, but the excited pack of children - and Ron’s insistent chatter  - got him out of his thoughts. 

The ship’s mast was cutting through the lake’s surface, showing itself in its grandeur.

Better suited for winter, the Drumstrang students came out and showed their red uniforms with no little amount of pride - giving Harry another unwanted mental image of Draco on foreign school uniforms that he pushed back as he was herded inside for supper.

He mostly ignored Ron and Hermione’s bickering, as his mind was reeling. 

What the fuck?

In an objective standpoint, Harry was aware that Draco was beautiful - in that somewhat androgynous fashion where depending on what he was wearing could look both pretty and/or handsome - but his thoughts of it were just observations - not actually opinions.

Was he attracted to Draco? Romantically? Perhaps sexually?

No, that was dumb… right?

happy birthday Draco

The wireless would be softly tuning in the background; it would play something classical, Beethoven or perhaps Mozart, Verdi, Tchaikovsky. 

Draco would be married at this point, way into his happy life. His kids —more than one, oh Draco would have a Quidditch team’s worth of kids— would be old enough, moved out of their childhood house, living their own lives. 

Astoria would have gifted him something elegant, a bit eccentric, how she liked it: perhaps some of those Muggle things she loved to buy and weave with magic to create something completely new. 

Draco would laugh, kiss her; they’d make love, they’d have dinner on the veranda of their beach house, the gentle breeze of summer fresh on Draco’s face. Reinvigorating. 

The wine would make him slur his words, mix French and English, and Astoria would laugh until she’d be crying too, trying to say something French with her horrible accent.

She never learned how to speak French.

She never made it here with Draco for his fortieth birthday, as Draco had imagined when they got married. He had imagined spending their lives together, forever. 

But she never made it far enough. They never had kids. They never bought that house on the beach. 

Draco sipped his wine, looking out of the window of the Three Broomsticks. Salazar, he hadn’t come back to Hogsmeade in forever. After Astoria’s death, Draco had found shelter in France, a small cottage in Provence, where a lavender scent lingered in the air permanently. 

Now, for his fortieth birthday, Pansy had called. Asked him to come back to England, just for a week. “I miss you,” she said. “And I want to celebrate, it’s an important milestone.”

Agreeing, Draco had come back. 

Everything looked the same in Hogsmeade, even the Three Broomsticks, packed with nervous students chattering about their N.E.W.T.s. 

Draco had an appointment to meet with Pansy, Blaise and some other old friend that night, but he couldn’t resist stopping by and having a look around, immersing himself in past memories.

“Malfoy?” 

A strong scent of lavender made Draco turn around, and his mouth hung open— rather inelegantly so— at the sight of the man who smelled so strongly of France; of home.

The one and only Harry Potter was looking at him with his eyes wide open, and the sides of his lips quirked up in amusement. He offered his hand to Draco. 

“Good lord. What has it been? Twenty, twenty-five years?”

Draco stared at Potter’s hand, heart beating fast for whatever reason in his throat. He finally took and shook it. 

“Fifteen,” Draco said, blinking in confusion at Potter. Ageing really did look good on him: his trademark raven black hair was now streaked with some curly white strands, which were infiltrating his tidy beard too. A couple of wrinkles were circling Potter’s eyes and mouth— those are happiness wrinkles, Narcissa would have said.

Draco never got them. He only had wrinkles on his forehead and between his eyebrows. You worry too much— his mother always used to tell him.

“What brings you here? I thought you were in France.” Potter was still smiling. Draco could swear it was infectious; he already felt light-hearted. Maybe it was the wine.

“I was,” Draco admitted, amazed that Potter would have known. “But I felt like I needed a change. I’m… looking around.”

Potter cocked his head. He smiled and the wrinkles at the sides of his lips deepened. They really looked good on him; it wasn’t fair.

“Did you find what you were looking for?”

Draco’s eyebrows arched up; his lips stretched in one of his first real smiles in a while.

“I think I did.”

Hogwarts School for the Arts - 1

Hogwarts School for the Arts was a boarding school going back centuries. Most students were legacies, with one or even two parents having been there before. A select few had a family history at Hogwarts going back too many generations to count. Draco Malfoy was one of those lucky few.

Draco Malfoy, like his mother and father, and every relative before them, was a student of the Musical Arts. The most traditional, and purest of the four Houses at Hogwarts. The best of the four houses.

Draco had been at Hogwarts since he was eleven. He had ended up rooming with three other boys, one of which had become his closest, as well as most hated, friend; Blaise Zabini.

The same Blaise that was currently snogging some bloke on Draco’s pristine bed

“The fuck are you doing Zabini.” Draco asked, strolling in almost too casually. He averted his eyes, picking up the latest edition of the hogwarts newsletter, hiding a smirk as the two boys behind him quickly got dressed.

“Remember Valentines Day?” Blaise asked, crossing his arms as he sat in the armchair across from Draco. The boy had had been with was hurrying out the door, Blaise was unsprisingly done with him.

“You know I wasn’t shagging her Blaise.” Draco muttered, not even looking up at his friend.

“Well yeah, but we didn’t know you were gay at the time, so we all thought you and Pansy were going at it.” Blaise said.

“It’s not my fault if Parkinson thinks sex involves screaming at the top of her lungs.” He replied. He and Pansy had been fake dating, and still technically were, but Pansy wanted to officially lose her virginity. She had technically done it the night before with one of the dancers in their year, but she didn’t want people thinking she was a cheater.

“How do you know what girls sound like during sex then, Draco?” Blaise grinned, obviously assuming he knew more than Draco did. (as if)

Draco pauses, glancing up at Blaise. He tossed his reading material down as a dramatic touch before he began his story. “I was what- fifteen maybe? She was in the year above us and I think she played the flute. My parents invited her over to try and arrange a relationship but we ended up fucking. I was rather awful at it and she knew well enough I didn’t care.”

Blaise was scowling at that point, and stood up to walk away. Draco didn’t care much. He knew people often tired of him due to their jealousy, but it wasn’t his fault.

“Are you going to the show tonight?” Draco asked, trying to draw Blaise back in. He enjoyed their little back and forths, as it often led to a blow out that would make their entire house take sides.

“And watch Potter’s little gang prance about in what they consider art?” Blaise asked, with a sneer. Draco and Blaise shared very similar views on the Dramatic Arts - they found them utterly deplorable and obnoxious.

“McGonagall is making me.” Draco complained, tossing his hair once. He spent hours making it perfect, so he was allowed to flounce it every once in a while.

Blaise laughed, and Draco realized with disappointment that he knew what he was doing. “So Pansy doesn’t want to go? And you’re trying to get me to come.” Blaise grinned, throwing his head back and laughing. Draco rolled his eyes, his friend really needed to stop laughing like that, it demeaned him.

“I didn’t say that.” Draco muttered, staring Blaise straight on, that was the most likely way Blaise would believe him.

“Nah. But you thunk it.”

Draco scowled at Blaise’s language, they were both brought up in similar ways and yet Blaise still proceeded to talk like a total Neanderthal.

“Are you gonna come then?” Draco asked, frowning.

Blaise laughed once more, and Draco barely got any pleasure in the awful way he laughed.

“You couldn’t even pay me.”

Draco scowled, he always did so much for people, and here they were leaving him out to dry. He was practically head of the house, and a prefect for that matter, and yet people still didn’t respect him as they should.

He most certainly was not looking forward to whatever little thing Potter and his gang had cooked up for this evening. And he was not going to enjoy it. Not one bit.

So I wanted to have a place to show off all my fics and I have finally gotten around to puttting them all on a list here so I can share it.

I hope some of you read my stuff and enjoy it. I had a lot of fun writing these, especially the memoir-esque on (Harry Potter and the Sexual Awakening) and my current WIP, Harry Potter and Draco Malfoy in Strange Magic becasue it’s sort of detective-noir/urban fantasy.

1. Harry Potter and Draco Malfoy in Strange Magic (37K WIP update weekly, M/E)

Summary: It’s been five years since the Battle of Hogwarts and Harry Potter is an auror, who catches wind of a series of magical surges that he thinks are linked to something insidious, but with a mildly tarnished reputation, he has a hard time convincing people of the problem especially so soon after the war. Harry joins forces with unexpected allies to help him find the source of the magical surges and save the wizarding world again, even if it means going against the very Ministry for which he works.

Summary: This is a Western AU where Draco (Drake Mal) has stolen a gun, his gun, back from Harry ( Golden Harold Potts).

Drake has been on the run, trying to stay ahead of Golden Harold Potts, but each time he thinks he’s outrun the sheriff, he finds himself face to face with his foe. Golden Harold caught up to him and interrupted his drink, so they duel.

Summary: Draco Malfoy is on the outside of society life after his family was tried for aligning themselves with Voldemort. The only thing that saved him was the intervention of one Mr. Harry J. Draco, who has been smitten with Mr. Potter feels rejected and when meeting him at a ball, decides to manintain his dignity and refuse to engage with Mr. Potter. *This is a Pride and Prejudiuce inspired piece*

7. Snow Falling on Us (5K, T)

Summary: This is a (belated) Christmas fic...I hope you all are still in the mood for it. It is Christmas Eve, Draco has roped Harry into helping him break into Snapes potions stores for an ingredient. Harry agrees because he owes Draco for all his help in potions. So invisibility cloak in hand, they head off to Snapes stores, but things go wrong and they end up in detention on Christmas Eve.

8. Seeker’s Games (7K, T)

Summary: Harry and Draco met on the pitch to play a seekers game. It turns into a regular thing and while it started as a way to get out frustrations and play quidditch since 8th years weren’t allowed on the house teams, it grew into something more.

9. Threats and Promises (11K WIP, E)

Summary: This is the Voldemort wins AU that no one asked for, and yet...Voldemort wins the war and takes Harry, Hermione, and Ron prisoner because he has decided they are more valuable alive, at least for now. They are kept at Malfoy Manor since Lucius has proven to be a resourceful and reliable minion. The task of torturing the trio for information on the whereabouts of any remaining rebels falls to Draco. This duty is one Draco willingly accepts. His other duties are much less pleasant. At least in the cellar, Draco has control and power over his captors—it is especially alluring when it comes to Harry.

Summary: This is a fun, short one-shot where Draco and Harry are on their way to a party being thrown in Harry's honor. And Harry doesn't know if it's the fancy limo Draco got them, or the excitement of officially becoming Draco's boyfriend, but he can't keep his hands off of him.

Summary: This is a one-shot based off of a prompt. "I'll be right back with your drinks," Harry mumbled, avoiding Draco's gaze and thanking the gods that he pretended not to know him. He wasn’t ready to acknowledge Draco just yet anyway. Almost getting caught & biting.

12. Always Some Madness in Love (9K, T)

Summary: This is a collection of conversations that Harry has with people. I wanted to try and write a story from Harry's perspective, but only focused on one person at a time and have the story unfold that way. So each chapter is a just Harry and that person talking about his situation with Draco, in one form or the other. Harry is in love and doesn't know what to do, but when Ginny figures it out, he realizes he is in deep and needs adivce on how to deal with the fact that he loves Draco Malfoy, whom he get's reaquanted with two years after The Battle of Hogwarts because they both play recreational Quidditch.

Summary: This takes place two months after Harry and Draco get together (See: Harry Potter and the Sexual Awakening). They are throwing an engagement party for Neville and Blaise, but Draco is still in "I want Harry all to myself" mode, so when Ginny interrupts Draco littering kisses all over his new boyfriend, he convinces Ginny to go flirt with Pansy. After all, Ginny did say Pansy had a nice arse.

Summary: Harry Potter gets outed by Rita Skeeter in a recent Daily Prophet article and decides to take matters into his own hands. What no one, especially Draco Malfoy, expects is this book doubles as a love letter to someone Harry calls, L.B. In the midst of being assigned to read and review Potter's new book, Draco realizes that some of the stories Potter tells in his book seem a little too familair. Thus, bringing up old feelings about the man.

What Harry is not ready to deal with is his resurfacing feelings for none other than Potions Professor, Draco Malfoy.

Summary: Harry, recently dumped, is being set up by Ron and Hermione and on Valentine's day no less. Harry of course is sort of sad and needs time to think before arriving at the Valentine's dinner, so he takes a cab which he ends up sharing with Draco Malfoy.
