draco is a history and law double major
harry is an education major that got in on a sports scholarship
hermione introduces them and they get on about as terribly as you'd expect and swear to themselves never to speak to each other again but they keep running into each other
draco is rich and bored and sees harry at one of the events his more lavishly rich and more exclusively bored parents throw and okay, now he's interested
It's like they've known each other their whole lives but are only now meeting properly. They've seen each other in passing and at parties, but they could never quite figure out the familiarity. Harry thinks he knows what it is now, as he leans closer to Malfoy, his eyes shut tight and his heart beating steadily in his chest.
