Harry wants to find out if Draco is a death eater because he is infatuated (see also: in love--it is so obvious) with the lad, but even worse--Draco was bitten on the wrist by Greyback and is now a werewolf. (No one knows, he ends up telling Harry after Draco discovers him spying) Also, Harry overheard the little conversation and Draco let's slip he is, in fact, gay (maybe Blaise hits on him jokingly or Pansy tries something ? So a bit of Jealous!Harry) But anyway, instead of Draco imobilizing Harry and hurting him, Draco makes a little quip at him and Harry gets down from the luggage rack and explains he is worried for the git and Draco opens up and sort of breaks down and Harry holds him and then tells Draco he's there for him and Draco gets overwhelmed with the feeling of being protected and cared for (because of course he's an omega) so his instincts cause him to kiss Harry and Harry kisses back.
Draco is less of a prick after that, and (though, of course he's still a sharp-tongued, witty arse) he is quite submissive--but he and Harry - who arent exactly together, he just sort of imprinted on him in a sense because Harry is the first one to show a kind, protective dominance over him - don't go about flaunting themselves (purposely, that is. If it does happen, it's because Draco is close to heat or in it and gets increasingly clingy and can't help but to scent his sort-of mate and rut against him--but luckily and coincidentally, no one is ever around) in fact, when people do finally find out they're a thing it's a huge shock.
At some point Draco's instincts kick in during one session when he is in heat and he bites Harry, Harry becomes an alpha werewolf and f*cks the absolute sh*t out of Draco during his first rut weeks later.
Their shag place is the Room of Requirement and occasionally the Prefect Bathroom (usually after a long week of heat--Harry sneaks himself and Draco in to clean them up, allowing Draco much needed relaxation.)
