When I was working on this, I saw that @superiorsniper sneaked in, abolutely in character without any interaction. I think you felt that I just worked on Lula in your face 😀 That‘s it – welcome, enjoy and get Lula‘d for superior grumpyness 😀🫶🏼

This time I tracked time again on this piece. It took me 1 hour and 19 minutes. I‘m getting better 😎

Today it's not a Star Wars artwork 😱 It's my desktop! And my cat Luigi peaking, obviously lurking to paw my pencil! 🐱

For me it's another step from clinging to templates back to free hand drawing like in old times, before my life was shaken with the aim to force me into growth 😌✨ (poetic and pathetic, too few coffee, too much green tea today maybe 🦉☕️)

Maybe you think this looks familiar – it's a remake of my old Tumblr profile banner picture. A sign for new beginnings and improvement 🚀 💫

This piece is a relic from times long before I knew I could be a self employed graphic designer or even an artist. I drew it on paper, scanned it and made the color finish with mouse and Gimp 🙈 I forgot the year, but I guess it's now about 10-15 years old 😄

My personal ALT text mission: today also one of my personal improvement steps out of clinging to templates – the first Star Wars clone face I drew without any template and it's not even a reg's one: Wrecker jumping onto poor cantina shinies! 💥

Captain Rex! 🫡 Oh Captain my Captain 😱

Absolutely unforeseen and not planned! Today I made a next experimental step on my drawing Padawan career and I decided to share the process with you for joy and also for feedback if you want 🙏✨and to show my blissful crosshatching dopamining 🤩

I just started the build up sketch and drew a clone. Turned out Rex. I don't know why, I only drew Rex one single time before (so that previous artwork is my ALT text mission today), but during the process something in the left mouth corner-chin-part reminded me of Rex, so I followed the art force and drew Rex 😁 (freshly out of the shower maybe? Did I look too long at the yeetable Captain Rex of @astral-veil? 🙀)

I'm really not sure if I'm satisfied with the result, but I know that's a common artist's issue 🙈 I like it, because it's my art and I'm almost kind of healthy mindsetted (mindsettled?) with that, seeing that it's presentable and fine 👍

But there's always that little nasty voice in my head, whispering "You can do better" and I KNOW that this is unconsciously learned behavior out of our performance society (especially Germany 🙄 super especially Bavaria 😒 super hyper especially Lower Bavaria 🍺).

As you can see in the process, I erased the nose and some of the shapes. Now afterwards I think to myself "Was the first version the better??" 😖 But even if – something in me decided to change the lines and I should trust this feeling! It's part of my development and so *sigh* ...

I do embrace it 😌✨

Here the clear result. Is Rex harried? Or is he sheepish? Is both even possible?
