So your dad, who happens to be a giant and herds wild animals (he brings lions, bears, boar and bulls into the house, it’s all a bit messy) thinks nobody is good enough for you, his only daughter. Every male who crosses the dingy threshold of your house is rigorously tested - and ruthlessly killed when found wanting. One stormy knight, three men arrive: a bishop, a boorish, sarcastic bloke, and a courteous gentleman who makes a move at your mum (probably because he has difficulty connecting your mum with your giant dad). The gentleman graciously complies with your father’s every wish, so eventually, your dad grudgingly drops him into your bed (bless you, you are not aware that he dropped him in your mum’s bed first but then thought better of it). So after your night with a stranger who has carefully omitted mentioning his own name, your father starts talking wedding arrangements. Your soon-to-be-husband wonders if it would be fine with you if he invited his uncle - who is only, oh, King Arthur. Well, how about that! You career of herding animals is well and truly over.
