Facebook just reminded me of the existence of this ancient colour pencil drawing of Gawain’s second wife, Lady Florie. I was so proud of this at the time! I still think the lines are quite decent - and I love Flo, of course. In my story, she’s the daughter of the Carl of Carlisle.
So your dad, who happens to be a giant and herds wild animals (he brings lions, bears, boar and bulls into the house, it’s all a bit messy) thinks nobody is good enough for you, his only daughter. Every male who crosses the dingy threshold of your house is rigorously tested - and ruthlessly killed when found wanting. One stormy knight, three men arrive: a bishop, a boorish, sarcastic bloke, and a courteous gentleman who makes a move at your mum (probably because he has difficulty connecting your mum with your giant dad). The gentleman graciously complies with your father’s every wish, so eventually, your dad grudgingly drops him into your bed (bless you, you are not aware that he dropped him in your mum’s bed first but then thought better of it). So after your night with a stranger who has carefully omitted mentioning his own name, your father starts talking wedding arrangements. Your soon-to-be-husband wonders if it would be fine with you if he invited his uncle - who is only, oh, King Arthur. Well, how about that! You career of herding animals is well and truly over.

Now this here sounds like the making of a cool power trio: Loholt, his giant-slaying buddy Jack and his demon-powered lady-love (Florie).
(Link to an older post dissecting this story in greater detail)
Modern AU Florie, I guess :).
When Granado announced, ages ago now, that they were down to the last few Sidonias, I bought an extra head, with face-up. (I don't deal very well with limited dolls. I mean, what if I ruin the head somehow and I can never get a replacement ever again?!)
But professionally face-upped Flo looks so modern and different from medieval and Sigune-face-upped Flo that she requires different hair and different clothes. I think she looks like a vintage film star. Hence the cigarette.
[A Doll A Month - February: Wonder]
It was not the first baby she held in her hands. It was not the first little child to have stretched its tiny fingers out to her, or to have snuggled in the crook of her arm. But it was the first baby she had brought into the world herself. It was her very own son, a small pink creature with clear blue eyes and downy red hair. She counted his little fingers (ten) and his little toes (ten also), stroked his cheeks and touched his nose. She searched his face for familiar features. His father’s eyes? His father’s mouth? Definitely his father’s hair... She smiled at him. Florens.
Gawain and Florie...
This is Lady Florie, daughter of the Carl of Carlisle and Gawain's second wife. She is the mother of Florens and Lovell, Gawain's younger sons.
