Happy Birthday Kick! What about a gift in the form of a cake with berries?
"So much food..."
"Don't worry, we'll help with some of it."
"Especially Hound. He'll need the extra energy 'cause of what he spent finding that gift."
"Oh yeah. He's doing his pseudo-hibernation thing, isn't he? Yeah, go to him first about helping eat whatever Kick can't."
"...Kick doesn't look like they need all that food, haha. They're big enough as it is."
"YOU CALLIN' MY KID FAT??"
Hey M2&M, I had a question that interested me for a very long time.
Have you had any difficulties getting started drawing on new devices?
As far as I know, you draw in IbisPaint, and did you have any difficulties in transferring all the drawings from one device to another
I have had this many times, and some of the drawings were irretrievably deleted in the ibis and phone gallery. Have you ever had this?
Forgive me if this is not a completely correct question, I am bad at formulating my thoughts
I've had a few issues with Ibispaint when it would crash, and the art I'd be working on would get corrupted. I've had that happen a few times. But as far as transferring things from one device to another, i haven't had that deleting issue, no.
I keep things as simple as possible. All my old art stays on my old phone. I don't use the cloud sync. By the time they added that feature, i had too many artworks to be syncing them, and if you aren't paying premium, the amount that gets synced is limited anyway. I haven't put an ounce of money into Ibis, probably never will. I can deal with watching ads to get the brushes for free for a few hours and I dont mind not having premium features I'd never use anyway. I'm probably one of the cheapest artists on the face of the earth, lol.
Anyway, yeah, if it's absolutely important that I keep and transfer certain artwork, which i never felt the need to, they stay on my old devices (if anything, i can just use my current phone's hotspot to access my old one if I ever need anything from the old gallery). Also, that's why I like Deviantart, because everything is more organized there. If I needed any of my older art, the majority of it I've posted there. I've deleted many of my artworks in Ibis gallery because of that, cause if anything, keeping the art I don't need with lots of layers if i aint ever gonna touch it again, just takes up my phone's storage.
When it comes to my custom brushes I just export the QR codes to my phone gallery and when I transfer to a new phone, I manually import them back in.
Is it a hassle? Yes, do I have the patience of Job to do it anyway? Also yes XD
