The drdt girls shopping for a Christmas gift

A/n:my first post back and the first post of the event and it's a request from last year's Christmas event i decided to do now cause I couldn't last year, hope you enjoy it

Teruko tawaki

Teruko really wasn't looking forward to buying you a Christmas gift, not because she didn't want to but because she already knew what most likely would happen....and she was completely right

Trying to find you a gift was hell. She knew what to get you because she asked, she didn't want to accidentally get you something you hated cause she knew that could happen too with her luck, but she just couldn't find it, it somehow sold out immediately after she went to the store and any other store she went to just didn't have it. Then she checked online and there it was sold at incredibly high prices that she just couldn't afford

She didn't even consider doing something herself to give to you because there was a very high chance she'd just hurt herself or you or it would just come out awful, so she just resigned and got you something else that she knew you'd like but that she could actually buy. She tried to wrap it up nicely but somehow ended up wrapping her own arms and had to ask you for help

"........I'm sorry y/n, I'm such a useless girlfriend, I can't even get you a decent Christmas gift"

"Don't say that teru, you still tried your best though didn't you? Like they say it's the thought that counts, now let's enjoy our Christmas"

Min jeung

Like teruko min just straight up asked you what you wanted for Christmas so she could be certain to give you something you wanted, but unlike teruko, she could actually buy it for you since she ordered it almost immediately after you told her

Along with the gift you told her about she also wanted to buy you a book you could read together, she made sure it was something you would like too and that it wasn't too long as you're not as used to reading as her

She wrapped up both gifts pretty nicely and gave them to you on Christmas morning she didn't think she needed to do something special as the gesture itself was enough for you to understand the feelings behind it

"Merry Christmas y/n, I hope you like the gifts"

"I love them, this is exactly what I wanted, and this book looks great"

"I'm glad you think so, I thought we could read it together if you wanted"

"Of course I'd love nothing more"

Arei nageishi

Arei definitely needed a bit of help choosing the gift for you. She just never bothered to actually ask you what you wanted, and even if you told her, she probably forgot. But she didn't want to seem like a bad girlfriend so she asked your friends if they knew what you wanted and moved from there

When she finally knew for sure she immediately went to buy your gift, she didn't care how much she had to spend or how much time it took to find it, she wanted to buy you that at all costs, partly to make you happy but mostly because she felt really bad for how she handled the situation In general

At least she wrapped it to look pretty...or at least tried to, it was harder than she likes to admit, and she swore a lot while doing it, but it was eventually successful

"Merry Christmas and all that shit, hope you like the gift, it's suuuuper special"

"......you didn't know what to get me and bought this at the last second didn't you?"

"E-eh? How did you....."

"Cause I know you arei, but don't worry I love it, and I'm glad you put thought into it"

".....t-thanks I guess"

Hu jing

Hu was basically the exact opposite of arei, she almost instantly knew what to get you, she knows you and your tastes incredibly well after all, but just to make sure she got something you 100% wanted and didn't already have she tried to sneak the topic in different conversations subtly enough that you didn't notice, she didn't want to ask you directly to not ruin the surprise

If it's something she had to buy then she doesn't mind spending however much time and money she needs to grab it but if it's something that she can make with her own hands then she always prefers doing that as it makes the love she put into the gift more evident

She also wrapped the gift perfectly and gave it to you with such a warm smile on her face, the whole experience made you like the gift even more

"Here is your gift sweetheart, I really hope you like it, I chose it exactly for you my love"

J actually didn't really see Christmas as anything special, but since you seemed to want to celebrate it, she had to give you a gift and make sure you at least liked it so she picked something she thought you'd want but before buying she told you if you were interested in having that as your Christmas gift. She didn't care if it ruined the surprise she had to be sure

And thankfully you did actually want that so she quickly went to actually buy it, even if it was expensive it didn't matter. Money isn't that much of a problem for her anyway especially when it comes to buying things for you

She didn't even wrap it up and just gave it to you telling you it was your gift, she did feel a bit bad about that since your gifts looked like they had way more heart put into them than hers but you reassured her you knew she put just as much effort into hers too

"So here's your gift.....hope you like it or whatever....s-sorry if it looks like I don't care I'm just not big into festivities y'know? I promise I actually did it cause I love you"

Veronika grebenshchikova

Even if Veronika obviously doesn't like Christmas as much as Halloween she's still happy to celebrate, especially because she still can give it her own creepy spin. Plus she always loves giving you gifts to make you happy

She didn't need to ask you anything to know what you wanted because she already knew right from the start, even if you didn't tell her she still knew, she tried to play it off as her knowing you very well but you're pretty sure she was just stalking you

She also did a pretty great job in wrapping it, she flirtingly asked you if you wanted her to wrap herself up too as she quite enjoyed that because it made her feel like a kidnapped victim...or a mummy....or between those two

"Merry Christmas darling, here's your gift, I'm sure you'll like it, it was made with my heart.....not literally even if now that I think about it that would be kinda cute too"

Rose lacroix

It's pretty obvious that rose didn't need any type of reminder for what gift you wanted. No matter how long it had been since you mentioned it, she remembered and instantly knew what to get you

It would be better for her if it's something she can make at home because she'd like to use her creative skills to make things for you even more than she already does but she definitely doesn't mind spending money if it's for you so it's not that big of a deal

She also wrapped it up pretty perfectly (even if she considered not doing it because it would have been too much effort) she even drew some cute patterns on the boxes herself to make them look prettier

"Here y/n, that's what you wanted right? I'm glad, merry Christmas to you too"
