you’re the only person I follow on tumblr who I feel like would be interested in this information which is why I’m sharing cause I gotta tell SOMEBODY but I have mobs on both sides of my family and I learned my great uncle on my dad’s side was like Really Infamous in Cleveland and today I learned he was born in 1892 and for some reason that threw me for more of a loop than learning I have Cleveland Syndicate on one side and the Italian Mafia on the other (not sure which group? chapter? that one is (not sure what area-specific mob segments are called lol), Mom just drops random nuggets like “oh yeah Uncle Tony would go missing for weeks and they’d find him wandering the desert” like Mother what the hell kinda mob movie nonsense is this!!) but I gotta admit knowing that my 4 foot tall grandma married the brother of such an infamous bootlegger and mobster makes her make a lot more sense as a person lmao.

I also think my mom’s mom set her up with my dad because the Cleveland Syndicate apparently respected whatever Mafia my grandma’s family was in and for some reason she wanted to join the groups together because she LITERALLY PAID MY MOTHER’S BOYFRIEND TO NEVER SPEAK TO HER AGAIN (which only worked till after she died which is how we got this info, he was literally set up and SENT TO JAIL to get him away from my mom so needless to say Mom was FURIOUS) and she met dad very shortly after and that was it, they’ve been married 40 years. I wanna do a family tree to find out more so bad but I feel like it’s gonna give me whiplash if this is what I’m starting with lol

My English setter swallowed a literal frickin entire wooden skewer (Mom was making city chicken which is actually breaded fried pork on a skewer) and shat it out completely intact with the poop around the skewer just like the pork so. If my dog can survive a POINTED SKEWER completely unharmed I am sending my best wishes that yours does that same with their popsicle stick 💜

Re:Vilma’s video of Joel: I’m not sure they were playing anything, in the video apparently the pills are for upset stomachs so I’m wondering if Joel gets motion sickness on trains (I think that’s a train they’re on, dumb American here lmao) and he’s trying to take his upset tummy pills without taking the mask off so he doesn’t get MORE nauseous 😅

Does that work? For me the problem is more when I'm not seeing anything while moving. For a while I had problems taking the train when it was dark outside and I could just feel it moving but not see it on the landscape.

I thought they were playing some kind of 'recognize this object by touch' game or something😄

its probably a combination of luca Struggling™ in interviews and the fact that nicky has such a strong accent in comparison to the rest of the guard (its a bit funny how he and joe have such different accents despite living in all the same areas presumably)

I haven’t seen the trailer cause I’m in the US and who tf knows when we’re getting it but is it absolutely terrible of me to hope it’s Pol’s funeral? That was my first thought too and like. I don’t want her to just like fuck off to wherever Michael and Gina are because they’re having a baby, I want her to have an actual goodbye. Of course, as far as I know, Helen was quite private about her health but I’m still hoping she told the writers so they could give Polly the sendoff she deserves and honestly after reading the article her husband wrote about her I would be more shocked if she didn’t after what she shouted from the bed as he was writing it lol (“keep it short, Damian, it’s not about you!” gods I loved her 😭)

Second: It's probably Polly's funeral. Tbh I kinda hope it is. Bc we know she isn't gonna be much in the final series...bc Helen died. Maybe she won't be in it at all. Maybe the funeral is all we'll get. Anyways, it being her funeral would be better in my eyes, than someone elses... I don't want more people to die.

They’re raised with the herd so they consider the herd their “pack” and thus will protect them from harm (Anatolian Shepherds are livestock guardian dogs as opposed to herding, so they just stay with the herds 24/7 to protect them but iirc they do also herd them to safety if necessary, and it’s also why the dog’s coloring is what it is, they’re the same as the sheep so a predator won’t immediately notice them and hang around to keep trying) so you were basically right except the dog doesn’t think they’re a sheep, the dogs think the sheep are other, weird dogs 😅
