A designer’s Secret I discovered years ago. If you have a painting or a tapestry, you can create a fascinating effect by pulling an item out of the background by repeating it in a three dimensional object hung on top of it. This is a sconce that repeats the same leaves shown in the tapestry, both in pattern and color. So it looks like it came right out of the scene. What makes Leo’s work different? A French bath by Leo Dowell Designs.com. Leo took out an existing exterior wall and replaced it with glass so you could see out into the garden. He covered the walls in carved French style boiserie and created the arches that conceal Roman shades for privacy.
