Just got an idea for another Spicynoodles au!

So what if sometime after his father was sealed away, Red Son was somehow cursed to never be able to glamour his Bull form and he notices that seeing him in this form makes his mother upset because it reminds her of his father. He decides to move out of his family's home and stay at his castle at Fire Wind Cave just staying locked up like the Beast in Beauty and the Beast.

Red Son wasn't aware that his mother had ordered the bull clones that he had made when he was younger to use his old blueprints from before he left to make a gauntlet to free his father.

Everything goes according to canon with the exception of Red Son not being there until MK and his friends made their way to the flaming mountains, which is where Fire Wind Cave and Red Son's castle is located, and they don't run into PIF. Instead MK, Mei, and Pigsy decide to split up to search for ways to get to Flower Fruit Mountain. Pigsy ends up finding Red Son's castle and when Red Son finds Pigsy and locks him in his dungeon. It then goes like Beauty and the Beast, MK and Mei find Pigsy and meet Red Son. MK decides to take Pigsy's place as Red Son's prisoner and Red Son agrees, because in his eyes MK (who ends up crushing on Red Son after getting to know him) is handsome and can lift the Monkey King's staff, letting Pigsy and Mei leave.

Beauty and the Beast AU with Red Son being stuck in his bull form is soooo funny to me, very specifically because it makes me think of the ending of the Disney movie where the Beast changes to a human and everyone who has ever watched it is like ‘ugly.’ 😂

Red Son (having been transformed into a human-shaped demon as his curse is broken): MK, it’s me!

MK (a known monsterfucker): change back.

Red Bone Spirit au

MK: I... met Red Son again

Yes! This is the exact frame I was thinking of when I said that! 🤣

Red Son is cursed, like in princess and the frog, except not a frog, he is turned into a flame sprite kind of looking like Calcifer from Howl's Moving Castle, probably by Yin and Jin, and the only cure is true love's kiss.

MK ends up finding Red Son, but is unable to unable to understand him so he doesn't know it's Red Son. MK thinks the Fire Sprite is adorable though so he takes him home with him.

I love this idea, but the flame sprite should look like the kind that was in the show 😂

If Red Son is still viewing it all as a friendship thing after the kiss, how do you think MK would react to realizing this? What would he do? XD

Oh man, I love an oblivious Red Son! Having MK fully kiss him and yet he still thinks it’s a friendship thing is really fun. Probably because I like projecting onto my boy 😂

Anyway, I think if MK was doing all he could physically to try to make Red Son reciprocate and wasn’t getting anywhere, he would… definitely not use his words. This is MK we are talking about and he does nnnnot communicate well. He probably would talk about his feelings. But he would talk about them with someone else who is in no way involved and can do nothing about it. A stranger. A literal monkey who can’t talk back. Himself in a mirror. ANYONE but the friends who could tell him the obvious truth that he just needs to TELL Red Son how he feels.

He probably starts to get depressed- if Red Son is still not initiating any relationship stuff with him, maybe that means he doesn’t even want to be MK’s boyfriend anymore. This takes the obvious turn towards MK now avoiding Red Son. It’s a terrible route to go, obviously, and it just makes him even more upset for no reason, but MK is an idiot and can’t help himself.

Eventually Red Son catches on that MK is acting strangely. He doesn’t see him as much anymore, and when he does he’s distant. It’s strange. He starts to think maybe he’s done something wrong… he’s so new to this friendship thing that it’s possible he made some sort of terrible faux pas that he isn’t even aware of. So he does the reasonable thing and asks Mei. She would have noticed if he did something and she is crass enough to not hold back for the sake of manners… anyway Mei has been on MK’s wavelength this whole time and assumed they were already dating. She is like ‘nuh uh, don’t go putting me in the middle- go talk to that boy yourself!’ Which is the only good advice that can be given… it also annoys Red Son, so instead of calmly approaching the subject, he bursts through MK’s window in a whirlwind of fire and DEMANDS to know why MK doesn’t want to be his friend anymore!

I just got this idea!

Team Monkie Kids is trying to catch a criminal and MK gets the idea to lure out the the criminal by dress up disguising himself as a girl and pretending to be a helpless damsel in distress. However, who shows up isn't the criminal they were looking for, instead it's Red Son who MK has a crush on.

Oh, I really like the idea of MK pretending to be either injured or otherwise in mortal peril in order to lure out a villain. This enemy has made it clear with previous attempts that they're not going to try to take MK on in a fair fight- they have to be tricked into even showing their face by MK pretending to be weakened somehow.

Of course, MK's plan to catch this bad guy out keeps getting waylaid by this OTHER bad guy who is constantly showing up whenever he puts on this act. MK has to fend of Red Son trying to grab him and escape every time, which is really putting a damper on this plan of his... and MK doesn't usually do good plans like this, so he's kinda bummed about it.

Eventually, after like the fifth time, MK gets fed up with it and yells at Red Son to go away because he's in the middle of something! And Red Son has to yell back at him that well MAYBE the stupid Noodle Boy shouldn't be putting himself in danger if he's hurt like this! He's just asking for something bad to happen to him!

And MK has to pause for a moment before he asks, wait, so does Red Son actually care if something bad happens to him? To which Red gets flustered and starts to fumble with his words a bit... no, obviously he just... he just doesn't want someone else defeating him. It's a pride thing, really... Anyway WHATEVER the stupid Noodle Boy can get himself killed any way he wants! See if Red Son even cares!! And he flies away in a whirlwind of fire.

Idea! Spicynoodles, but Red Son is like Helga from Hey Arnold. He pretends to hate MK, but deep down he secretly loves him. Secretly, Red writes + recites poetry, has a locket, makes a shrine, and stuff.

Oh my gosh it’s been so so long since I’ve watched Hey Arnold! But yeah Helga was one of my faves- I loved how absolutely manic she could get in secret while playing a straight up bully around everyone else.. baby’s first tsundere in a way lol

I absolutely love that you have made this comparison becasue could absolutely see Red Son pulling this same shit. He absoLUTELY cannot let that moronic Noodle Boy know how he feels, but Heaven help him he is so DESPERATELY in love with him. So he’s mean. He bullies him. He purposefully upsets him, follows him around just to throw spitballs fireballs at him, and generally makes his life miserable. Then when he’s out of earshot, he swoons and simpers over MK like a lovesick little kid~

MK, obviously, is oblivious to Red Son’s true feelings. Though, he does find it interesting how this demon who claims to hate him will sometimes go really far out of his way to help him out when it’s something actually important or dangerous… but he always seems to have an explanation for why it WASN’T for MK’s sake, of course… so, he starts to think Red Son might be secretly nice, or at least just that he’s really bad at expressing himself and making friends.

I was just thinking back on Season 3 and I was thinking. I wonder what would have happened if Red Son had returned to the room with the milk and blanket for MK before they could start on their plan to steal the ring?

I mean, if Red Son came in while they were actively making their plans and saw the nonsense they were up to, I imagine the same thing would have happened where he gets his lights punched out 😂 MK would definitely feel bad about it more than Mei, though, because he’s visibly got the milk and blanket for him~

Who knows? Maybe he feels so bad that he scoops the demon up and takes him with them hehehh
