Ran into the student council president
Okay, so I went to dreamcon this year and I didn't really like the events. I was not having a good time at the Megan event. The questions that the announcer asked were very basic and Megan's answers were very generic. The only fun part was the her choosing the best cosplays. That an having a hard time getting into events again like last year but instead of it being so lax that the would let weekend badges in before the premium. This time they had issues with the rsvp. Me and my fam could not get in even though we rsvped because we had a hard time finding the right qr code. At least my brother was able to get it. That a rdc world was barely there. But I don't care about that the thing I do care about is the fact that dreamcon felt antisocial. People really didn't interact with others except for a few. U had to either point them out an they would either say something or do what they were doing. Which I don't have a problem with it's just that it didn't feel like an anime convention. An every thing was so damn expensive. I guess this con was not for my broke ass but I really did enjoy walking around, playing the arcade games and talking to some people. An the game show at the end of the con was fun but I had the most fun with my family. This might be the last time I go to dreamcon. For the amount of people I was with and how expensive the tickets were I don't think me or my family can continue going to something like this. I'm happy to experience a con like this because it's hard to find cons that are for black people.

Megan Thee Stallion coming to a black nerd convention is a dream come true but I think the smart thing for me to do is cancel my trip. I shouldn't go broke trying to see her. It would've been dope to have her twerk on me though. Next time Dreamcon!
