my hasn't-read-the-comics s2 dreamdesire beautiful fantasy reason why they hate each other is because dream emerged from mommy dearest first and she took all that desire out on him until finally she spit his sibling out and ever since then he's hated that kid because he can't look at them without thinking about being mindfucked by the primordial soup. and ideally this gets brought up in a roundabout way somehow at family dinner and desire for the first time really truly is DISGUSTED with themself. and then the hurt comes back even stronger because they can't HELP who they are! they didn't chose to be who they are! how unfair that dream can't see them for who they are and love them! angst ensues desire ultimately fucks him over and steals the dreaming or whatever they're plotting they hold dream by the hair and give him a disgustingly romantic kiss before they kill him end credits

Ah yes, monsoons. Lots of tourist come to Alola expecting sunny weather all day. Unfortuatnly for them, Alola was not immune to the effects of mother nature. You had to be wary of the monsoons during the rainy seasons. Thankfully for most people technology had advanced far enough to predict when bad weather was going to hit the region.

Unfortuatnly not everyone had access to that or was smart enough to look that up. This is why Koko often went on patrol, just in case someone got caught in this weather for whatever reason. Not to mention any damage that was caused by all the rain and wind.

Huh, was that Jirachi struggling in the storm? What was a Jirachi doing here during a monsoon? Probably a question he should ask later. Right now, that Pokemon needed his help. Quickly, Koko swooped in and brought them into the Ruins of Conflict.

"Nah, it's my job to protect the people in this region... but I wouldn't mind if you owed me a wish."

Tanabata had already come and gone; a holiday associated with wish making. But to see a Pokemon associated with wishes deciding to make an appearance was odd.

But that didn't mean she'd be rude to the little thing.

It's the caw of Panzu, Jasmine's Skarmory, that alerts the woman to a surprise visitor: a being, reminiscent of one she'd seen in storybooks of foreign lore long, long ago. Carefully, she wearily grows closer, if not only to inspect the radiance their tiny—yet seemingly powerful—frame exudes.

"Hello there, little one," her voice is softer than the sound of the waves crashing below, though not quite drowned beneath them. "Seems like we share an appreciation for the stars, I'm guessing."

They offer a comforting little pat to Ree's shoulder!

Ree gives a small, sad little smile, before offering their hands for Jirachi to settle in again.

“I know you can pro’lly tell what I’m thinking about,” they say, quiet, as they lean back. “Honestly, it still feels too good ta be true. It’s hard to believe that I get some actual good days now. It’s …”

a pause. They exhale softly, looking up.

“It’s better than I could have ever expected. I feel… really good.”

There is the soft sound of chimes as a familiar little creature floats into view. They look Ree up and down before nodding seemingly to themself. "Ah! I was thinking right. You are feeling better, yes?"

They’re climbing one of the trees just outside of Po Town.

Their body can do it, now. It’s so — bizarre, and strange, that their body can still have this strength even after three years. They’re sitting on one of the branches, in awe, when the wishing creature appears.

Ree blinks.

“—? I am, but … how did you…?”

Seems like they don’t remember giving that wish at all. Maybe they thought it was a fake thing. Their legs sway back and forth.

“I feel great. It’s kinda unnervin’, actually.”
