I’m so sorry if you’ve answered this before, but what do the grey wardens say happened to people who died in the joining? what do they tell the members of their families? or do they just like never say how/when they died just that they died? couldn’t find much lore online to give me a clear background

In Awakening, Nathaniel mentions that he had a family member, Padric Howe, who joined the Grey Wardens and was never heard from again. He surmises that Padric must have died in the Joining, after having gone through it himself and now knowing about it. So I’d say that if a recruit dies in the Joining, their family are not told, probably to keep the Joining a secret.

“Just one thing? How am I supposed to choose?” She lingers a moment in position, back arched and fingers poised just so, before she relents and looks uncharacteristically serious.

“His smile.” A small smile of her own breaks through her serious tone. “He has a good smile - it’s honest, like I know he means it.”

She has a dreamy look on her face for a moment or two, now answering as if she is in a trance.

10. Did Murphy bite your detective at the end of Book 1?

Straight up did not know it was avoidable bc i bungled it in both my first playthroughs, so yeah! Charlie got bitten on the wrist after failing to punch him and Esme froze up and got bitten on the neck.

33. Which member of UB would you want as your best friend?

Definitely Farah/Felix (and also tbh they’re my ‘would definitely date’ pick as well). We have the same energy and humor so we’d vibe super well! I’d go berserk at A and M if they talked to me, and N would unintentionally intimidate me because even though i know they’re a sweetheart, i’d be scared of bothering them. 

68. Does your detective drink? Take recreational drugs?

Esme will do either in social situations. I feel like she and Tina will occasionally hang out and have an edible so they can enjoy being stupid and chill together.

Charlotte doesn’t like doing either because she hates not feeling 100% in control of herself. So she’s usually the designated driver and chaperone anytime she’s with friends!

Oooo idk I like to think Cecilia and Ava’s first kiss is going to have the energy as the rain scene from P&P (2006) but it’s the “because I love you idiot” trope

Oh god yeah. Cecilia wants to become a vampire to spend eternity with Ava. The thought of her being alone for another 900 years makes her want to cry and there’s nothing in the world she wants more than to spend every second with her :,)

Funniest moment in game?

Either the "who will be hunted?" spiel between M and F (that was totally planned dont @ me) or the socks scene uwu, what can i say, M and F are an amazing duo

Which member of UB do you feel you are most similar to?

Oh this one is hard, i feel like im similar to all of them in different ways? But N is probably closer, with a sprinkle of F, the dirty humor of M and A's yearning.

I actually romanced Nate on my first playthrough! I was going through all of the romances to see what I liked, but the next one I did was Adam and now he owns my ass.

Which member of UB would you want as your best friend?

F HAUVILLE. Honestly because we’re pretty similar as is and we’d probably get along way too well.

Does your detective dream of a future with their LI? If so, what is it like?

Currently, Miriam just dreams of a future where Adam actually stops hesitating for whatever reason and takes the plunge. She does dream of marriage and that whole normal thing, but right now she’s just wanting him to just go for it.

Honestly, how would you react if you found out there were supernaturals living in this world (and your blood is the hottest ticket in town)?

Honestly? A mix of “HOLY SHIT AWESOME” , “Well, at least I know I’m good for something :’)” and “Aw, fuck.”  If I was in Miriam’s shoes? I’d be pretty excited because who doesn’t wanna be around hot vampires (though I’d still smooch F Hauville), but if I was just me? I’d hope I just don’t die LOL.
