I recently saw a lot of posts about bisexual celebrities who are portrayed by the media as either straight or gay, based on the gender of the person their dating. But I realised today that this happens on a "local scale" as well. I'm a bisexual girl, and when I was dating my ex boyfriend I noticed that people who know I'm bi, would find it weird when I called a girl hot or expressed that I also like girls in anyway. They knew that I'm attracted to both boys AND girls but somehow got the idea that being in a straight relationship made me straight. My friend is a bisexual girl, and she has dated a girl for quite some time. I noticed that people would find it strange when she talked about how cute and hot she finds certain male artists. They knew that she is attracted to both girls AND boys but somehow got the idea that being in a gay relationship made her gay. Being in a straight relationship doesn't mean i've finally "picked one" and it sure as hell doesn't mean that I'm straight, and vise versa.
