Alright, so I was followed by dreamkasst fairly early on and I have to say I probably smiled so hard I got a headache. They have one of the best Kass' out there, but honestly??? I have not yet seen a Kass that doesn't just blow me away??? Kassthebird and hi-nctes are also amazing??? What a trio. I'm just so happy to exist surrounded by these beautiful birbs.

Getting to the Earth temple was a challenge, he had to get golden bracelets that would allow him to lift the heavy rock. Once he had gotten that and went inside, Laruto told him that he needed to find her descendant, one that would be carrying an instrument like hers. 

That’s when Link found himself in a situation where he had no idea what to do. Find someone in the Great Sea that had a harp looking instrument. It almost seemed impossible given how vast the sea was, along with its inhabitants. What if the person he was looking for moved around for a living? 

Who in the Great Sea had a harp and was a descendant of Laruto? The answer soon hit Link while he was sailing. Medli! She carried around a harp that seemed to be a carbon copy of Laruto’s!

Taking out his Wind Waker, Link played the Ballad of Gales, and within a few minutes, he was at Dragon Roost Island. A smile decorated his face as the jumped off the boat and wadded onto the beach. 

Link then waved at the King of Red Lions, yelling, “I’ll be right back! I know who we need!”

The boy then climbed up the stone boxes that led to the entrance, a quickness in his step as he entered the doorway. But, much to his dismay, the Chieftain stopped Link before he could go and find Medli. Apparently, someone needed to speak with him. 

Returning the power to seal the darkness was Link priority, but he’d never turn someone down if they needed any help. So, the young hero only nodded and waited.

‘i’ve always had a slight ENVY for those with a musical inclination’ is what Revali had been PREPARED to say to the big Rito. but he doesn’t. that would imply things he doesn’t want implied. besides, he doesn’t even know this fellow. better safe than sorry.

“how long have you played?” he asks, trying to sound as uninterested as he can. “that’s a big instrument. is it difficult?”

As a father, Kass was instinctively worried about someone so young being out on their own. Sure, she could have been older than she looked, but, by the way she was attempting to hide behind him, certainly a young one. She didn’t seem like the child of any of the stable regulars, either.

Trying not to scare her, he slowly turned around, looking down at her with kind eyes. Not knowing of her condition, he spoke spoftly.

“Ah, good evening. I hope your journey has been a safe one?”

➷➷  She was rather spooked when being noticed by the lovely Rito hoping to play it off by her not looking at him but it was safe to assume that Kass would not bring harm. Catching the attention from his eyes did she slightly blush from how.. Signing gently about how gorgeous they were. This, the first time, she had ever properly met a Rito. 

  Ah, what was he trying to say? Scrunching her face as she quickly signed to him explaining she was deaf after pointing at her ears and shaking head. “I’m really about this sir. I don’t mean to be deaf, really. C...Can you repeat what you said? Slowly?” Never seeing a bird talk before would be quite the challenge of mouth reading.

Link hadn’t been planning on straying from his intended course. It was supposed to be a straight shot to the next shrine. He could see it in the distance, and his Sheikah Slate’s map gleamed with the pin he’d set to guide him.

But then he’d heard the music. In the end, he couldn’t help his curiosity. He hadn’t heard anything like it... At least, not that he remembered.

The shrine wasn’t going anywhere. He could always head towards it later...

“That’s not a horse, ma’am.” The Stable Keeper told the half-Deku as she rode by atop of an antlered deer. “I’m afraid we can’t take it in.”

“But he’s tame,” she protested, stroking the buck down it’s back. “The regular horses around here are too big for me, and it took me forever to get him over here.”

“I’m sorry ma’am, but deer are just too feral to keep around the horses and stablehands-- they could throw a fit and hurt somebody. If you want, we have some donkeys available for sale, those are about your size, but we just can’t take in something that could impale someone with those horns.”

The woman let out a huff, then climbed off the deer, who promptly pranced away from civilization and back into the woods. With a sigh, she scratched the back of her head and began to walk away, passing the Rito playing the accordion.

“Guess you don’t need a horse, do you?” She asked, referring to the man’s ability to fly.

[clears throat] I LIKE ZELINK??? In many of the games. This ship is sometimes popular, but I often see it being considered not-popular, or people seem to criticize it for being too mainstream and just????

I think thati n most of the games, Zelink is actually really great, and either super angsty, or incredibly sweet. I’m such ship trash, I love it 95% of the time.
