Omfg dude dreamtale is so fucking bad. Omg.

Dream gets canonically SEXUALISED AND INFANTILIZED, and thats just scratching the surface. Hes the biggest, most annoying mary sue ive ever seen. He cant feel hate??? HOW? How is he the "only one that can stop nightmare" yet a whiny baby that pulls the victim card straight from his ass?!

Hes obviously favored by the narrative. EVERYTHING is about him. And I mean EVERYTHING. The conflict with ink would have been a good way to explore dreams flaws and bring light to inks perspective but NO, DREAM OFC HAD TO BE THE "GOOD GUY" WHO GOT "MANIPULATED" BY INK (only cuz ink cares about the aus more than its people). If dream cpuld accept that his brother isnt what he is anymore, and can respect error(who destorys aus cuz yes and not to keep the balance), WHY CANT HE RESPECT INK AND TRY TO UNDERSTAND HIM? The worst that guy did is have gray morals!

Also hes always portrayed as yhe only saviour, the light in the darkness, when in reality hes just a whiny annoying hypocritcal fuck. How is he gonna develope if his flaws and mistakes are NEVER ADDRESSED???

Also: i noticed that any character that dislikes or disagrees with dream gets portrayed as the bad guy. Thats a major sign of dream being a mary sue.
