Dream to dream

Why live life from dream to dream? Because I haven't found the dream I really wanted. I had searched high and low. I had traveled from coast to coast. I've searched beyond heavens gates, I dived into the darkest depths of hell. And still, I had not found my dream. I had found many, but not the one for me. So I stopped searching. I stopped trying. I felt myself dying. So I sat in the dark, alone, waiting for the void to finally over take me. Waiting for peace from a life wasted chasing a dream that was a never mine. J. Pryor 06/08/13
