The fire was roaring, Jackson sat in front of it, lost in the contemplation of the dancing flames. Mary was asleep, Mrs Overland was out and Hiccup put a blanket on the other boy’s shoulders, smiling down to him, before coming to sit in front of the fire as well. He snuggled closer, taking one side of the blanket to wrap it around him too. The two boys were sharing warmth in silence for a while when Hiccup’s hand snaked around the other’s waist, his head coming to rest on Jack’s shoulder, and he sighed."I don’t want to leave you." he said sadly, knowing perfectly well once Mrs Overland will be back they’d have to move away from each other and pretend to be best friends, only best friends, then their boring and frustating life of pretending will resume for a few days, until they could share an intimate moment like this again.‘Ω’ and I’ll tell you what my character(s) thinks of yours."He’s the cutest princess autumn in a tutu."No Jack, for real. “For real he’s just a sassy little piece of shit with the most disturbingly adorable freckles.”Something like that. More seriously, Jack just like to interact with him, he likes how he’s passionate about his work, and how he acknowledged him and welcomed him on the first day of winter. And deep inside he likes his wit and awkwardness and find him cute too. He wants to pinch his cheeks but won’t do it. He also always have this desire to throw snow at him because he likes the sight of it in his hair, and bury him in just to see him fuminate in general, because he was really angry at him when he chased him away the first time. All in one, he won’t mind seeing him more. Like, every year.‘Confess?’ and my character(s) will have to confess something to yours. (whether it be feelings, opinions, a secret — whatever; feel free to specify)A dip in the lake. It sounded like a nice idea for a hot autumn day like this. But for Hiccup, it just meant more awkward moments. Apart from the fact most of his energy was currently focused on not ogling his friend’s pale and bare skin, -this was wrong, okay?- and trying his best not to blush at the idea he’d have to show his own body -he was kinda modest on this matter, and his slinny limbs did nothing to help-, he’d have to warn said friend beforehand about this. "Mh, Jack?" he called, waiting to catch his attention. "I have something to tell you." He was obviously uneasy. And upon the started and almost scared look on his friend’s face he deciced to cut short and go straight to the point. He took the paler boy’s hand to place it on his own left leg, well where a leg was supposed to be, but now everything you could feel, even under the material of his pants was hard wood and cold metal."I have something missing here, that’s not the easiest to swim, okay?" Now he was sure of it, he could feel his ears heating up.It couldn’t be more awkward, could it?‘♥’ and a name, and I’ll kiss them. Hiccup! He was doing it again. Hiccup was chewing on his bottom lip. Jack noticed this habit of the autumn’s spirit some time ago and it had started to disturb him. Making him wonder how it would be like under his own teeth. The abused lip had turned red when it was released and Jack give in to the impulse: two colds hands came to cup at each side of the freckled spirit’s face and equally cold lips joined much warmer ones, nearly soothing after the burn of nervous biting.A soft nip and a lap and Jack’s lips had left as quickly as they had come, leaving a bewildered autumn’s spirit to ponder on what had just happened, and a winter spirit in the same state with a growing panic of how he’d be going to explain this.
