Started drawing blobfish and tripped over this soapbox. Who put that there?
I find that a lot of people who make cheeky posts about what living blobfish look like tend to not mention how the typically inedible blobfish is getting pulled up from the deepest depths of the sea in the first place. The new documentary “Ocean” with David Attenborough provides a chilling underwater look at a trawling net in action. You can watch a clip here.
